Me too but then both places I had them preorder from got shipments on Thursday and they started shipping. Both Bilsteinlifts.com and Totalautoparts.com shipped me orders. I had to cancel one since I wasn’t expecting them to get them at the same time. I talked to total auto parts and they were surprised because they weren’t expecting them until July.

I would absolutely be cautious about that location/tie down method.
Front impact would send that thing straight through your skull.

The shovel is very lightweight, and if I have an impact strong enough to rip a bolted Quick Fist out of that panel, I probably have more things to worry about at that point. But I will consider this, and thanks for the input.

Not so much of a concern with the hardware being pulled through the plastic, but the fist itself doesn't always 'catch' the way it should, I would imagine even more so after being jostled when one closes the hatch.
Maybe add a 2nd or a cable of some sort?

Rewired my VIOFO dash cam from being on odb2 switch to hardwired to the fuse box. I did like the ability to switch on and off parking mode but I wanted my gauges/info back on my Pioneer head unit.

I almost forgot about that, My 1st Gen 1987 4Runner had a more rudimentary “clinometer”.
I guess to help you visualize the slope you were on or to level it when camping. I rarely even looked at it.

I got my Krazy Beaver shovel hanging on my Rago molle panels today. I installed the Rago mounts for the Quick Fist. This was the only place I could really put the shovel, and it'll only work there when the right side rear seat is folded down. That seat is always folded down, so the shovel isn't in the way of anything for me. If I ever need to put that seat up, I'll probably have no need for the shovel, so I could always take it out and leave it home or even just toss it on the bottom in the back or have my unlucky rear passengers hold the shovel. Under normal mounted circumstances, you have to make sure the shovel is far back enough when closing the trunk, but that's no problem. I gave it a test drive and everything seemed to hold very well. When initially putting the shovel up I thought maybe it might rattle on the screw in the lower right of the panel, so I might put something soft on top of that screw, but I think it's going to settle with lots of room so there will be no need for that soft thing.

Yeah you see people don't buy a Crazy Beaver shovel just to keep it in your hatch storage. No, people buy the Crazy Beaver to mount when people can see it.

Thanks....I also have a hitch carrier and picked up the roof mount for a upcoming trip that might cause the hitch mount to drag. Plus I can use the roof rack for my sedan when needed.

I’ve never had one pop loose on the road. Just ensure it is seated all the way in the slot.
