So, funny story, I didn't end up towing this out there. I rented it through outdoorsy; the owner offered deliver it and set it up for a few extra dollars and I took him up on the offer!
However, I do have some bags ready, for when I get a trailer of my own to tow. And I'm still waiting on my rear shocks, they've been in back order for weeks now.
This is the spot I was camped at. 37°02'16.4"N 113°18'16.7"W

There are TONS of spots all around this area. Beware though, the roads are rough getting to some of the spots. Walk the road first to make sure your trailer will survive! And enjoy - This was one of my best camping trips!

You've probably checked this but is your rear window all the way up? If it's open even a little bit none of those things will work.

Roll your window up. The rear window being down any amount turns all of those functions off. It's probably down like a 1/4"

As others have stated make sure it's all the way up. But furthermore you need to make sure your window is set. Roll the window down holding the switch down the entire time, roll the window back up holding the switch up the entire time. Repeat. Window should be set and all functions will work normally.

Added Pelican's 1650 Molle panel to the rear lift gate. Turned out pretty good. its made out of Pelican's Plastic so its light weight, i believe around 8-9#. They have a QD system so i can take off the panel to add/remove pouches easily. lift gate stays open with baja ladder and molle pouches attached.

Went to the hardware store and picked up spacers and 2 inch bolts and nuts that matched the latch system on the panel
That’s hilarious. Not judging at all. Actually it’s probably smart. Trailers are like boats. Lots of headaches for the few times you ISE them.

Toquerville Falls Trail, Utah
Attempted Toquerville Falls today. Didn’t make it. At one point I had one tire airborne. Got a big gouge in my RCI aluminum skid. The group buy was well worth it. Damage could have been worse. I’ll take another shot in the future with my RCI rock sliders when RCI delivers it. Maybe by then I’ll have larger tires and a lift. I’ll also start in the morning and not late in the afternoon.

Led a trail ride on Glade Top Trail Saturday. Had 3 vehicles join me. We're all members of the facebook groups Show Me State Overland & Chadwick Trails.
The GMC Yukon driver and Nissan Xterra driver both decided to ride with me. We consolidated down to 2 vehicles for the more difficult trail.

This was the 1st real trail for the Rubicon Owner. He told me... "if you can do it, so can I." He made it look easy with his 37inch tires.
The Nissan owner plugged his GoPro on my 4Runner and took this LONG 38min video of the trail.

Considering how trailers have special quirks and oddities it's nice to have someone set it up when renting. I'm looking into purchasing an A-liner or other pop-up in the near future. What do you tow?
(And I've repainted tubs before, hope you didn't kill too many brain cells with that stuff [emoji1786])

I ordered one a while back and just received it! 2021 TRD offroad Premium! Set a date of May 10 for Icon Stage 3 and 4.56 regear install, currently using my new Method 703's and 33" General Grabber's as office furniture while I wait for the install. MAN I CANT WAIT FOR THIS SUMMER FOR SO MANY REASONS!

Got my Baja Designs ditch lights wired (installed on Rago low profile mounts) and got the Anytime Backup Camera all wired up (with front camera and GPS override). Was planning to do the wiring myself, but having previously cracked my vertebrae in 5 places, I just wasn’t up to getting under the dash. Last time I did it for 5 minutes to wire in a TBC I couldn’t walk for a week. Trusted the job to Finish Line Auto Salon in Maple Shade, NJ. If you’re in South Jersey or Philly, check these guys out. They do really nice work and are super easy to work with. Also shout out to Brian at Anytime Backup Camera for the on the spot tech help.

I came up Spring Drive. I forgot to activate my Gaia, so the numbers are a rough guess. I went about one mile past the water tank, after the first sharp left hand curve is the general area where the passenger front tire went airborne. I was already in 4Lo, so I continued forward and gouged the skids. I went another half mile where there was a high rock shelf. Only way around it was on the right side. If I went on the right and slid towards the rocks, definitely would’ve damaged the driver’s side OEM steps and possibly the rocker panel. I saw plenty of dune buggy, motorcycle and quads coming back from the falls. I also saw a group of Wranglers and one 4Runner heading down the mountain . When I turned around, I saw a military surplus HMMWV guided tour going towards the falls. Next time I’ll get out on foot and check the trail conditions more since I didn’t have a spotter.
