What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

So far I remove the SR5 side badges, dipped the rear badges, painted the rims and ordered a TON of stuff! All new LED headlights, diode dynamics switchbacks, BFG KO2s 255/65/17, 2" leveling kit and new grille. Having some tint re-done in a week. Long list of stuff but it's just the start!

Good-looking truck and it looks like you've already made some great Improvements. My previous 4Runner had the rear badge painted, and ultimately started to smear and look messy. I slapped some of these on there and it absolutely looked awesome. Highly suggest these to black out the rear lettering!

I got a free 28" light bar and wanted to make it yellow. Bought a 2"x30" Lamin-x strip and put two layers on the light. Next up is trying to squeeze it in the upper grill.

Was just about to order the 6532IX, what was the issue and how did you fix it?

The metra adapters were too tall with this speaker. I used the Infinity supplied adapters which were much thinner but had to drill new holes to fasten them to the door. Got them in and they sound a lot better.

Yesterday I installed the power wire and ground for my new AMP and DSP, also ran the wiring to the subwoofers in the rear. Everything put back together waiting on my head unit harness to hook it all up.

Looks good! I had blacked out for several years but it started to wear as well. If these were available then or if I knew of them I would have considered it. I ended up going back to OEM chrome and I am fine with it, but that really looks good!

Purchased it Monday April 5th. It's a 2016 SR5. I traded in my 2015 F-150. We no longer need a big tow rig and we're moving to Colorado in 3 weeks so the 4runner was it! I want a fun daily driver/occasional trail rig.

Please take a look at this thread and consider returning your headlight LED bulbs and instead use performance H11 or H9 halogen bulbs.

Did you replace it with a non-KDSS bar? Once upon a time I had sway bar disconnects on my Jeep (YJ) and one day I forgot to reconnect them. Boy, was that sketchy on highway ramps.

Installed All Pro sliders this weekend. Unfortunately one of the driver side threads didn't cooperate so I'll have to chase it with a tap I don't have and get a new bolt.

Got some new tread! When I bought the rig last week, it came with 265/65/17s which are smaller than stock. Thus the speedo was off and it looked terrible. Threw on some stock size 265/70/17 BFG KO2s. I debated a long time on 255 pizza cutters or 275s. 275s are such a heavy tire at 56lbs for the KO2 and as a daily, just didn't make sense right now.

Also threw on a new grille, LED lights everywhere (doors, mirrors, headlights, etc).

2" leveling kit going on Thursday. Also debating a bumper cut......

nothing like a jeep with disconnects. if you have upgraded front coils, no sway bar won't be a big deal at all. ran my titan with no sway bar with fox coilovers for years.

Finally got around to installing my lift that's been sitting for 2 years, also tackled my roof rack as well. Just need to get some new 33's under it now. Also applied some optimum gloss coat to protect the paint another few years.
