What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Took my 4runner to the CAT scale to see where I was at after I finished installing my C4 Fab rear bumper. Both tanks full, so 47 gallons of fuel, No fridge, no me, 6080 lb. So I'm right up against the GVWR with me in it, Ok, to be honest, I'm over it with me in it. I'm golden after I use my Aux tank up, that will shave off about 150 lbs.. I also think my Icon 2" rear springs will have to be swapped out with some Dobinsons 600-800 lb springs as I feel a bit saggy in the bum now.

now imagine how overweight these clowns are with all the shit added on the roof rack. idk how they even go fast anywhere being 7-8k lbs.

Thank you. I ran it down the passenger side of the windshield in the grove. However, it did not stay well so I was trying to figure out other ways.

Might be hard to see but if you lift up the drip rail (1 4" piece of double sided tape holds it on) you will see the grooves that the wire can sit in and where i had to come out i just made a small notch in the top of the rubber drip rail so it would still sit flush. I have to remove the rack soon and will run the wires under the feet when i reinstall it.

Added a set of Baja Squadron SAE fogs to my 4R. Massive improvement since the projector lights alone suck.

Ill be adding a set of Baja S1's to the rear for backing down trails and lighting up my camp sight.

I also got replaced the stock tires for some duratracs.

We are stopped in Moab for a bit while we wait on the snow to melt b4 heading to Colorado. I went out and did a bit of exploring checked out Gemini Bridges, gooney bird rock (didn’t drive over the toes and would advise you not to as well!!) waiting on the rain to stop so I can get back out on some more slick rock. Which is ironically grippy as sandpaper (when dry)View attachment 381021

Bezel kit was easy enough to do.

I got an extra dash piece on eBay to drill into for the spod touchscreen mount, so I can swap back in the original, non-drilled through one, if I end up mounting the touchscreen somewhere else.

Got home from offshore (I work a 14 day on / 14 day off schedule), saw all the boxes my wife had lined up for me and couldn't resist.

Ditched the factory skid plates and installed the RCI skids I got in the group buy. Tossed a little flat black on the engine skid so it wouldn't be so bright up front, but left the others bare aluminum. I've still got to install the A arm skids, so I'll do that tomorrow.

I've got a trip to Talladega AL next week to shoot in and officiate at the USPSA National Championships, so it was time to get everything serviced and ready. While I was at it, I swapped out an aluminum oil filter housing cap.

Installed a ram mount today. Also bought a farm in glo GPS so I can run Gaia and Maplets on my old iPad Air. Now I need to buy an iPad mount. May go cheap with the Arkon seat rail mount. I’ve seen they break though at the base. Decisions...

Not 4Runner related but I bought a Land Cruiser this past week. It's a 2013 with 70k mi on it. I'm not sure yet but it may ultimately be the 4R's replacement

Installed my A arm skids, that I also got during the group buy. These are even easier to install than the individual main skids. Later on I'll add a fuel skid and a rear diff skid, then that should have the underside covered.

What app is that for the inclinator!

I'm using the Dual Electronics XGPS150A with my iPad Mini version 1. The iPad is way to slow to handle any maps or new software, so I will be upgrading, but the GPS is rock solid on my iPhone 11 and onX Offroad with no service.
