I added 1.5 inch wheel spacers to my tacoma pro on slightly bigger K02s (265 75 16) and it looks killer.

Looks are fine, but keep in mind that in addition to reduced clearance, wheel spacers add weight and points of failure to all 4 corners. Plus, you're increasing leverage on the wheel bearings and suspension.

Wider wheels with added negative offset also do this, but to a milder degree and without the added complexity. Plus you can safely run wider tires.

If that is a 21+ Pro model you might be able to get a decent chunk of change for those flow-formed factory wheels (7" width). Use that towards a wider wheel, like the f(x) Pro from FN Wheels. Probably for less than the total cost of spacers.

I was wondering that myself. AOB Switches or MICTUNING would look soooooo much better!

I don't mind the rocker switches for now. Solid switches and I know when they are on/off.
Currently have them wired direct to battery so no add a fuse and only a relay on one (the light bar) The ditch, reverse light and voltmeter are so minimal power.

Yes, everything has an in-line fuse at the + battery. Simple, as direct setups for the moment. A little extra muscle memory to make sure they are off when leaving the vehicle, like making sure the back window is all the way up (coming from an FJ that took me a cpl weeks to remember but now I wont forget).

I looked at the Mictuning and AOB and have read some have issues?
I would of loved to use the Taco fog light switch (I did this in my FJ) but switch was just too large overall for 4R spacing for that many.

Yes it is. Its a spot I found in a public land use zone thats hidden away from some of the more known spots. PM me for more details if you're looking for a spot sometime.

Fishing is something I haven't done in years, but the older I get the more interested I am in getting back into it. Might have to setup a way to carry a fly fishing road in the 4Runner somehow, so its always with me.

Did some exploring around north west Colorado trying to find remote access to the Colorado river but no dice. Found some awesome trails though. None that were particularly hard but definitely tight shelf roads that make for a decent pucker factor.

Picked up some 285/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks for super cheap and ordered some new Vision wheels! Should have them on the rig within a week.

What kind of deal did you find on the Wildpeaks? I’m looking around for a deal on a spare right now.

Dropped her off to the dealer to have them polish her. They drove it through a drive-thru car wash with 4 miles on her; she was covered in micro-scratches. (this was after I told them not to detail it.. grrrrr)

Anyways, so far I've installed:

- Westcott Designs Roof Rack + Rock Sliders (black | 20 degree)

- Lock'er Down Console Safe (Abloy lock)

- XPEL Ceramic tint on all windows

- Trak-4 GPS tracker (hey, these are hot cars, and easy as hell to steal - I want to be able to locate it if that ever happened) Went with the 10-minute live updates

- 1Up Double Super Duty (black) bike rack

-Black emblem overlays

- Screen protector (FlyingChan brand - love it)

I've changed the oil, as I just hit 1K miles. Switched to Kirkland synthetic, added a Fomoto drain valve (go for the F113N model), and also added some NMF.. and to be honest, she purrs as if she's cammed now. Almost. I think that NMF is some good stuff.

To be done:

- Ceramic coat next week - CarPro's UK 3.0, topped with Carpro's SiC

- Wire in LED bar and ditch lights (not installed yet, as I am waiting for it to get back from polish for that - rack was already installed so I told them to skip it) with AOB switches

- Mount rotopax and storage on the roof

- Receive new BTCHN4R plate from Ca DMV

Looks great! When did you order your personal plate? I ordered mine on Jan. 26th, still waiting for it to arrive. I know they were 8-12 weeks out prior to Covid. I'm on week 17.

Oh just a couple of weeks. Here's to both showing quicker than later!

Did you get any type of confirmation it was approved ever?

I wonder if denied plates are simply silently refunded?

Finished up most of my dual battery setup for my trip this weekend. Will go back in after and fix the small things. On a side note odyssey 25 pc 1400 is discontinued.

Dang, lucky! I did get a confirmation, and took a screenshot of it. Maybe I should try calling to see what the deal is? I've heard of it taking many months for some other people here in Cali. Also, I recently tried to input my personalized plate and it said that it wasn't available. Which leads me to believe it is in production....maybe? :noidea:

Just talked to a CA DMV Live Chat agent, they said it was assigned on 4/8/21 to their headquarters and I can expect them within 60 days of that date. So, hopefully soon!
