Headed up to telluride to do some exploring. All the passes were closed but we were able to get to Bridal Veil Falls on Black Bear Pass coming from Telluride. We were also able to take Orphir Pass over to Ouray where we found a nice open camp site. Colorado is an amazing state for sure. You can experience all 4seasons in 1 day while seeing some if the most beautiful landscapes you can imagine.

My dealer picked up mine from out of state because there were none locally. Well, of course they ran it through their swirl machine before the trip to my dealer.
I instructed my salesman to either not wash it or wash it by hand. They actually washed it by hand.

Well, it had some minor swirls so after a couple of weeks it went in for paint correction and ceramic coating.

It never sees their automatic car wash when it goes in, PERIOD!

Oh, I washed the car last night well, and am paying them a visit today; asking them if they see the problem, and how they plan to fix it - and if this was truly done by their "lead guy"..

You want to make your own pinstripes, not someone else. I got some on a trip earlier this year from front to rear. Cleaned up with a little Ceramic Pro detail to where you could barely see anything afterwards unless you were up close looking for it.

Greased all zerks(time for a better grease gun because mine is toast). I also added the scuba mod finally. I had to run to the auto parts store to get a better tube than what I ordered online because it cracked.

Got a few things done

Gave it a good interior detail after a long week of roadtrips with 3 kids (why are they so gross?)

Threw down the weathertechs that showed up while I was gone

pulled off the running boards FYI: 6 12mm bolts

and put in an attic

I changed the 4runners settings so I can open all doors. Instead of just the drivers door. Didnt use carista either...was simple too.

Ordered Shrockworks sliders as well as some polishing discs to work on some front end pinstriping I got in SE Oregon a couple weeks ago.

My son brought his Tacoma over and his build is almost finished - as soon as the rock sliders are done and compressor is wired up.

Oh yeah man not really even noticeable until I gave the front end a good wash and got right in front of it. I've gotten a couple good stripes polished out before so no problem at all

You were right about that dust though - it's still coming out of everywhere especially the hatch area every time I close it. I also noticed that the inside of the plate bulb lenses are caked too hah

Busy day after a long rainy weekend.
Did my "spring" detailed wash, wax and undercoating (Woolwax) then only a matter of hours before pollen was everywhere again...
Got the cargo box (Thule Motion XT Large) on along with the baby awning and new Roadshower. Looking forward to trying this out. I put a quick adaptor with a cap on it for transit, then will pop the hose/shower on when needed.

Thanks for sharing, what is the scuba mod?

Scuba mod just means that the rear differential breather is relocated from the top of the axel to a higher location ( so water does not get accidentally introduced into the axel). Some choose to run it all the way towards the engine bay and others just put it by the gas tank filler neck etc.
