I see you have a Magnuson sticker. How do you like the SC? Did you do the install yourself? I've talked to 4/5 shops in the Davenport/Moline area and none will touch the install.

Son had to jumpstart the 4runner this morning.
Before work he took a nap in it with the A/C running (Arizona). I bet he had the engine off.
I'm sure it's the original battery (2017). AZ heat is murderous on batteries. Might replace it as 'preventative maintenance'.
In 2 weeks we'll be picking up a car for him to drive. Maybe I'll get my 4runner back.

Got tires & wheels mounted and balanced, alignment done after a driveway lift install. Lift is 2/1 w/ OME UCAs, tires are 285/70r17, wheels are 17x8.5, 0 offset. Did the fender mod and removed mudflaps. Still getting rubbing on the back of the fender @ full lock on passenger side. I thought I should be getting more caster than I did with the alignment. Might need to bump the 6112s up a couple of notches in the front and upgrade the rear lift springs and find a new alignment shop. Any suggestions for the Seattle area?

Did 2 OHV trips recently. One to Gold Lake in Plumas National Forest(5/29-30/21) and the other up Signal Peak off i80(6/6/21).
Haven’t been to Gold Lake in 3 years. The last time I went I had my 3rd Gen. The 5th Gen makes it easier with ATRAC. Took one trail up the backside towards snake lake and stopped at the peak before things got crazy. I used the locker going over one ledge on the backside of Gold Lake but the rest was easy. A friend of mine did Gold Lake with me in his Pro-4X Xterra.
Signal Peak was a different story. There were quite a few large obstacles now maybe due to snow? I would not have gotten over some of it without the rear locker or the crawl control/terrain select. I basically couldn’t get over some of the boulders due to traction but after flipping some switches the 4runner crawled up them as long as I held the line with me steering. There were also some HUGE ruts due to snow/mud , probably from someone with mud boggers smobbing through it. The main path had ruts maybe 3-4 ft deep and are gonna need some major work now. There was a small path to the left that was made and looked well used so I took that path.
The signal peak trail also had a ton of overgrowth around it and I got some major pin-striping. Overall a great trail but with stock sized tires and only 1.5 inch up front and 2 inch in the back I wouldn’t recommend it for the faint of heart until it gets some maintenance. The trail is getting pretty rutted out and needs some trimming.

I love it! I’ve had it for about 23k miles and can’t imagine driving without it now. I had it done in KC at Adventure Motors, love those people! I need to regear and had a shop try it in Des Moines, huge fail! They said they could do it, 2 weeks later, they threw in the towel and put it back to stock. I will only use Adventure Motors for mechanical upgrades from here on out.
Here is a pic of my engine. If you are ever in Des Moines, reach out and you can come give it a test drive to see if you notice enough of a difference for that $$$.

The 17 SR5 has, what appears to be, the original Panasonic battery.
I peeked in a couple of calls and it is at the low level. Going to add a bit of chocolate milk.

Installed JBA UCAs and added a 1/4" top hat spacer to get the front end a little higher. Went for an alignment yesterday and am rubbing again on the 285s in reverse, so will have to see where that is hitting now this weekend.
Wonder where your caster is set at. I always used 3 with the stock control arms and slightly above that with my new Icon DJ units. That stopped the rubbing for me with 285/70s.
Cleaned up my Midland radio install. I previously mounted the main unit in the glovebox but had the mic routed down through the panels. Today I installed a coupler, added a cable from that to the main unit which now gives me an ethernet jack to plug the mic into.
I can unplug the mic, stow it and it's all clean!
