Installed some Cali Raised ditch light brackets and side shooter lights. I like how low pro the ditch light brackets are, but the brackets that came with the lights are a bit tall. I may have to fab up some shorter ones. Overall, they were very easy to install and took less than an hour (wiring and all). The hardest part will be waiting until tonight to get them aimed like I want them.

Wrapped up the ARB twin install with a Kobalt 90 degree swivel fitting (from Lowe’s)… so I can still use the OEM fitting and still close the hood!

I don't know if I would trust myself to swivel it down every time before I close the hood. Over the years I have seen plenty of hoods damaged from the underside. People leaving wrenchs and other stuff where they should not be.
Will it contact if you forget?

I took my beloved '14 w/ 135,000 miles in to get a full brake pad and fluid change...found out that both front calipers had a seized piston in them, so that meant it was time for the caliper replacement/upgrade...so now i have two brand new front calipers, 4 x resurfaced discs, and 4 x sets of brand new pads...all as winter starts to creep in here in the Mid Atlantic region.
Im not sure if that's the going rate/mileage for replacing them...but since the thing has been paid off for years now, ill take it.
With every fluid changed, every wear-item replaced...this would make my rig about as refreshed as it could be...im looking forward to driving this into the 200,000 mile mark within the next 2 yrs.

Glad you finally got your rack. It looks good. I finally got mine and installed it a few days after you did yours. I got the Stealth rack, but really went back and forth between it and the Ranger rack. I load a lot of stuff from the side and thought I wouldn’t want to lift it even higher over the sides of the Ranger, but now that I see yours, I can see where it might help contain my stuff better than the Stealth. Oh well, I still like the Stealth and was just glad that the big gaping hole in the carton it arrived in produced no more than a gouge and long scratch on the back side of the fairing.

Normally it won’t be in the position you have pictured. In fact, I had to balance it just right to stay upright. I just did that to show the versatility of the fitting.
It stays in a prone position (pictured here) and swivels horizontally, especially with the “heavy” hose attached.
I guess if I dent my hood, that will be another project [emoji51].

I had a custom built rack on my 4th gen, and had it intentionally built "deep" I like to hit the beach at the Texas coast, and sometimes pack my yak. It helps to be able to put more stuff up top, and still fit the yak. I also simply like the "deeper" look. I have a trip planned next month to the coast, and am excited to put it to some good use. Glad you got yours. I need to call gobi because the pic was a tag attached to my rack. Looking at my original order the "FREE Getaway Backpack" is the only thing missing. I had completely forgotten about it.

Same. Happened with my ’18 TRD OR. I got my 21 last week, and have been trying to get it Coloradoized with the quickness. I feel that the front cam is one of those useful features that help modernize the Gen 5.
Since I have the dash opened up from the my Headunit/Speaker install + it allows the aux input to be used an an additional cam input I decided adding the front camera was kinda a no-brainer. My biggest requirements were high quality picture/Super Low profile/ built for Colorado conditions/not crazy expensive. Got this off amazon for less than 40. And it seemed pretty well reviewed.
Here’s where I am planning to locate cam:
I will document the install + camera setup/review as well, as it may help with your decision.
While my NEX 4500 headunit has the built in inputs, during my research for cameras I noticed several solutions for adding a front to the existing OEM system as well. So I'm thinking whatever results I get should be replicated with those systems as well.
I got the same tag. Don’t really need a backpack, but maybe I’ll find a use for it one day.

- both diff fluids
- transfer case fluid
- AC Refresh kit, was smelling kinda fowl
- spark plugs
- touched up paint / rock chips
- interior LED bulbs upgrade
- headlight & brake light LED upgrade
- shampooed carpets & headliner, detailed interior
- & lastly installed a battery tender charge cable as I don’t drive as much in winter time.

Nice work, you should look for a clear coat ASAP for those lights you just polished or it'll go to waste. I don't believe any wax or any sealant is strong enough to protect them. There are a lot of waxes and sealants which claim to have UV protection but they are very weak or non existent. You specifically should be looking for a clear coat.
