really necessary improvements

for already perfect vehicle, all under 500 miles:
1. stainless steel screws for license light lenses
2. stainless steel screws license plate with anti-seize on threads
3. anti-seize on all skids mount bolts
4. wool wax frame inside and out and all bottom (not exhaust)
5. oil catch can
6. ppf roof and hood against birds
7. same vinyl on shift panel
8. weather tech mats
9. carnauba wax body and inside wheels
10. hi temp clear coat calipers and exposed bare metal parts of engine (not cats)

Finally got everything together for my rig. Here is the dobinsons 3in and 2in lift kit with fifteen52 range hd rims 17x8.5 and toyo at3 285.70/17. Waiting to get them put on by a local shop.

I can't help deciding which to get. Both 2019's, ones an ORP and the other a Pro. Similar price and miles.

The Pro is obviously a pro, but it's black, needs some beefier tires and is missing side rails/steps. Other's white, has beefy tires, siderails I want, but is an ORP. ARG I don't know what to do!!

Dobinson rear springs
KDSS rear spacers
Toyotec bump stop spacers
Wheels are 17x8.5 wrapped in 265/70/17 Wildpeaks

A lot would depend on your intention and use of the 4Runner.

Moved from WA to CO last week.

I should have taken a pic, just moved as well. From FL back to TX. We hauled a 4Runner with another 4Runner. Was a slow journey!!!

Took a nice easy going drive in the hills over maintained dirt roads and two track trails. My daughter and her husband visited for the weekend from out of state. Saw several groups of chukar (Hungarian partridge, a popular game bird), a couple of deer, several antelope, a large red tail hawk, a few burrowing owls, several falcons, hawks, several large infestations of Mormon crickets, cottontails and jackrabbits. The transfer case and front got some exercise in high and low ranges.

Since we got home last Saturday after 3 weeks throughout the SW, we have washed it, changed oil, reset "Maintenance Required" light and ordered new air filter (Thought I had one in the garage!).

Air filter arrived last night! Going in today!

I installed a Heft Fabworks Banshee bumper and Ironman 4x4 9500lb winch. I just can't figure out where to mount the winch control box. Has anyone figured this out?

Do a search but think most have to open the hood to access their control box. Is it a remote control?

Put the 4R to work...made progress on my 66 Chevy and hauled the bed down to its new location. That bed will become mobile beer taps for a restaurant!
I know, I know, it's not *exactly* 4R related...but the Chevy is getting a full frame-off resto with a little bit of modernization (disk brakes, AC, stereo with BT, EFI) and going back to the original 60s blue/green color.

Went shopping, dropped some coin on 10 gallons of gas (California), ordered some parts for a custom hitch mounted gas can carrier-hinge and latch.

Dropped my fuse box bolt into the floor board. Does anybody know the size so I can buy a new one? Or can someone measure the size of theirs with a socket wrench for me? Thank you
