New Front Suspension Parts and Lift Kit
This was longer than just today but over the last week I installed a lift kit, new front upper and lower control arms, front and rear swaybar endlinks and outer tie-rod ends.
Did all this on the driveway with hand tools + a battery powered impact.
This is a 2011 with a full 2015+ facelift - front and rear bumpers, lights and full blackout.
I lifted it using Bilstein 5100s and OME springs with OME upper control arms.

Yes, $212+tax at 4Runner LifeStyle, reasonable price. I wonder if their gloss back would look nice against the Nautical Blue?

I drove it to the beach last weekend for beach day with the church. Took a buddy with me. Nothing remarkable, but my 4runner feels solid and reliable.

Ended up buying from 4Runner lifestyle $212+tax.
Just installed them today. Hope I never have to do that again.

The goal was to upgrade XREAS stock shocks to Eibach with a 1.5" lift in front, exchange the rusty front calipers for red TRQ calipers, install EBC rotors with pads, and exchange the front brake lines for braided.
XREAS was snipped afterwhich I installed the rear shocks, rotors and pads but the squeeling I had was found to be loose emergency brake shoes due to excessive back plate rust so pulled those off and put it all back together for now. (My Limited came from PA). I'm currently riding around with little to no oil in the front shocks due to the clipped XREAS, but I'll have it back on the lift by end of the week if *knock on wood* parts arrive on time. My windshield washer fluid is escaping out somewhere and the pump isn't working so that's something else to add to the list.
On a good note, the 5 matte bronze RRW rims that arrived today quietly await their inspection tomorrow. Fingers crossed the rear emergency brake hardware kit and shoes arrive tomorrow.

Been awhile since I have been active here, though I have done a few things, this 4R is still a street queen...recently added, tint all around, some fang lights (still not hooked up), ditch lights (got for free, working on auxbeam install), black valance, new fog lights, leveling kit and some pizza cutters... 255x80 Toyo AT3s.

Performed regular oil change on the 2014 at 379.8Kmiles, then my wife promptly went camping and geocaching in it, racking up some Montana miles.

I have an issue with my front and rear washers. It seems when I select the
front washer using the shift stick to the right of the steering wheel the rear
washer only works and sprays instead of the front and vice versus. I did have some front end work done at an autobody shop. Could they have put the washer motor connectors on backwards? if this something I can check and fix myseld? It is a 2023 TRD Pro.

Goodbye.
I said goodbye (not today, but close enough).
After 9 years, my small family outgrew it. When I crunched the numbers on our RV and looked at the maintenance coming due on the 4Runner, I knew it was time to make a difficult decision. It's time to move on and give Bender a chance to have some great new adventures.
I bought Bender unseen 9 years ago, and had it shipped in from out-of-state. It was a real tuning point for my little family. The 4Runner served us so very well for many camping trips, roadtrips, errands, estate sales, and fun outings with our bulldogs. So many trips to Lowe's and Home Depot. I once crammed 5 large bales of hay in the back! I've been lurking here a long time, so special thanks to 1Engineer, CutthroatSlam, and Antman. Cupholders in the bumper has got to be the best mod ever.
My wife and I will miss this car like no other. (I hope she doesn't see this). It made me fall back in love with cars and wrenching and I never thought that would happen. I wouldn't be surprised to find myself in another 5th gen down the road. In the meantime, see you on Ih8mud.
