Long day, caught up on a few maintenance items.

Oil and filter change
Drain and fill both diffs and transfer case
Grease drive shaft universal joints and slip yoke
Tire rotation, brake pad check and flush brake fluid

Getting older, took me all day, was easier when I did it a few years ago.

anyone here know how to remove the lumbar assembly from the drivers side? mine quit working after some pretty loud popping sounds. opened up the seatback and noticed that the motor runs but the mechanism doesn't move. opened up the gear box area and the gear teeth were all stripped

OK ordered a used assembly off ebay but I can't seem to figure out how to get the old one out. I was at it for 15 minutes. at this point Im thinking I will just swap the motor and gear box from new part to old part. motor seems to be OK but my vehicle has 175K miles so might as well while I'm in there if I can't replace the entire assembly

My wife rolled past 390K on 2014 4Runner on her drive from SoCal home to our Montana home.

Swapped the TRD wheels for FJ Cruiser 8-hole wheels and dropped the 5100s to the 2nd spring clip from the 3rd. Went from 275/70/17 Wildpeak AT4W to 255/75/17 Cooper Discoverer Road & Trails.

Probably doing the opposite of most on here lol, but I've had the vision for these wheels since before I bought my 5th gen!

Over the last few weekends (@ 60K)

- Engine Oil/Filter
- Transmission (4 quarts, drain/fill - drain at check valve at temp)
- Front and Rear Diff
- Transfer Case ($$$ but got a really good discount at local parts dept)
*All new gaskets and plugs

- Coolant Drain + Fill (Radiator and Overflow Tank)
- Power Steering Flush
- Brake Bleed (Gravity)
- Rotate Tires
- Grease Zerks

(Serpentine Belt and 3 Pulleys will be a winter project)

The right front passenger seat in the 2014 4Runner was getting pretty ratty after 11 years and 393.7K miles. On our trip down down from Montana to SoCal, I picked up a seat from a salvager in Salt Lake City. The material and foam were ok, but the black material did suffer fade from being out in the sun. Still much better than the old. We’re going to address the fade with some black fabric paint/dye. I did swap the seat warmer from the old foam to the replacement foam and we kept the old seatback with seat warmer and the bottom Fram from the original seat. I had done the original install of the seat warmers, so this job of redoing seats has become relatively easy for me, but still took a couple hours.
