removed the cheap, would work when it wanted, Jensen flipout DVD/CD/Radio and replaced it with a Pioneer I had laying around. I can't believe somebody thought it was a good idea to install this, it didn't even open all the way because it hit the cupholder.

installed my ARB front bumper, i know i know you all want pics, well guess what its dark out and it was dark after i finished installing the lights so no pics. but i will say that installation was super easy and is doable with just one person, as i did it by myself with no help or lifts ect. and it weighs less than my factory bumper +brush guard that i took off, so the only added weight will be when i put a winch in it(hopefully soon).

Got home from work to find that the guy in the big brown truck dropped off my rigid dually lights, then, scanned craigslist, and scored me a 4x5 con fer rack for the runner for 100 smackers. Pics to come.

I'm pretty sure I quoted you about this topic before. I posted a thread about my ARB/Winch. The ARB barely weighs a hundred pounds. A factory bumper has some weight and so does a brush guard made from, I believe, mostly 1/4" steel and a bit of 5/16". I'd agree with The Kid.

yeup, according to my unscientific fact finding research, the ARB weights between 75 - 78 lbs and the factory unit i took off was tipping the scale at right around 90. and yes i removed my lights off the brush guard for this research.

(all research was done with me on a scale holding the bumpers then subtracting my weight, very very scientific and zero chance of inaccuracy)

When I dropped the ARB at his house I busted out 3 sets of 12 curls with it. It weighs exactly 77lbs. Trust me, I work out.

just to make sure we have right truck, you have a 97 4runner which has has the simpler bumper which is just a piece of thin 18 gauge steel with some plastic. last time i picked mine up it weights around 15lbs max. so ur saying the brush guard weights 65lbs, you sir either have a super beefy brush guard or you put on some serious muscle mass during the lifting of your arb bumper lol

I guess...? Bottom line: an ARB weighs about 80lbs. Its a very light bumper.
