A few things

Washed it, cleaned it inside and out; replaced corroded battery terminals then loaded it up for my move to my apartment. Feels great to be behind the wheel again. :girl:

I just bought the 4runner so first thing first is to remove the god awful running boards. Now my truck doesn't look like a minivan. Also fixed the hood latch the hood release lever was stuck in the open position not allowing the hood to stay shut.

Looks good! What year? I've been wanting take my running boards off but always think it'll look funny since the grey/silver fenders are plastic.

Finally ordered a fumoto drain valve. The drain plugs I've been buying from auto zone suck, they either don't screw in all the way or strip way too easily.

Ordered new Rear LCA's from Toytec... New Lower ball joints from TRDparts4U.... Replaced my rusted out rear heater lines with rubber hose... put in a new plug to the alternator that was faulty. Busy boy today!

Decided to change my fuel filter. About to drive to dinner and see if it makes any difference in MPGs. Fingers crossed.

did fuel filter i had sitting around for about 6 months, dont know why i put it off, took 20 mins... that was with it idling for about 5 min to watch for leaks

was a bright enough day to roll down the back window half way, love watching people interact with my dogs while driving

Welcome back James,

The Surf hatch is going to look sweet. Thanks again for the white surf hatch find. I only wish I could have figure out how to translate from Japanese to English. Even using Goggle translate it was impossible on my end. That was the " buy " for me dang it.

Thanks my man, sorry we couldn't get something sorted with a matching hatch for you. I'm pretty excited about all the parts. Should be arriving at the end of the month. In the main time just trying to sort the parts I already had here and really excited about driving my truck again. I expect the full build completed by the end of July or early August. Oil and Filter Change as well as the Fuel Filter. Both Fuel lines were frozen into both sides of the fuel filter that I had to get new fuel lines from Toyota and replace everything from the engine back to the tank. Fun Job!

Built a platform for the back of the 4runner. Going to have to wait to put drawers in it. Got all my stuff sorted out with space to put stuff on top without the clutter. Don't know why i haven't done this sooner. I love it. Will get some pics later.

...Removed my old wood drawer system and built an aluminum and wood based divided storage system. Found a mattress that fits between the new build, no more hard nights without padding. Moved the Hi-lift to the rear homemade swing gate. Removed roof rack that I rarely used. Built an aluminum table for stove and minimalized camping gear to reduce weight ( I kept a list of items I have been using and removed those not used in the last few years). Netted almost 1" lift after weight reduction. Drank a few homebrews...:beer: now to go test the changes on a weekend getaway.
