I agree! More info on the fenders! I have a set of these left over from the tacoma. I've thought about throwing them on but I'm not sure if they will fit right or not. They look good from the pics you have!

Wow good eye, you are correct. I will say they fit ok. Not perfect, but passable for what I need. They are a bit short overall, so you either get a big gap at the door, or it doesnt reach the hood. And the front end slopes down faster than the 4runner hood so I had to shim them up to find a happy medium.

If you are looking for a show car, I don't recommend it. If you are looking for an easy to get fender and don't want to wait a year for the glassworks ones....and can live with some gaps...go for it. I built this thing to wheel and explore, fashion is at the bottom of my list. But excuse the zip ties....I was in a rush to go camping. lol

Lift is on. Toytec 3" springs in front with Tundra 5100s on second notch. OME 890 springs in rear with Rough Country N2.0 shocks. Rough Country shocks were already on it so I decided to give them a try. The front will come down a little bit when I get it aligned because it looks like this from the front. \ / I ended up with 4" in the front and 4 1/2" in the back. The amount of lift looks pretty high because I had 200,000 on my factory springs 2wd springs. Before numbers were 19 1/2 front 18 1/4 back. Now I'm at 23 1/2 front and 23 3/4 back.

In other captivating news, costco currently has mobil1 syn on sale for $28 a case. My local dealer charged me $19 out the door for filter/oil change. So $47 for a full synthetic dealer oil change, not to shabby id say. Shibby!

That gap look so familiar. Mine are fiberwerx Tacoma fenders tho.
Do your fenders actually cover the tire at compression? Mine still swing and hang outside a little bit.

Passenger side is at full compression, I had to trim the inside lip so they would tuck in.

Yea, even if I would trim the inner lip it wound go inside. I think it's mainly because of my 35x12.5 tires. They just stickout to much. I wish I would of went with a bigger flare.

yeah, they're pretty sweet! My only regret so far is, I see all these cheaper ones online that look exactly the same and they have higher lumens. I prob should have grabbed those instead, but it's all good.

the bracket part was the biggest pain in the ass cause I had to use the infamous trial and error method. As far as the wiring goes, it was a breeze! even easier with the aux fuse box

getting ready for this big winter! It's already showing snow in the mountains so today and yesterday I washed, clay-bared, polished waxed, sanded some rust underneath then treatment with the rattle can and some "Gunk"




i know the paint wont last long, but hopefully with the gunk stuff it will get me through the winter

also ordered some weathertech floor mats, possibly going to order a light bar, and lets see, all kinds of other stuff

Not quite to the lights portion yet. I ordered my sliders today and i'll be getting my lift soon after. After that, maybe lights, maybe front and rear bumper.

Changed out the fuel filter last night. Pretty simple, but one connection kept leaking. Ended up having to really tighten it down to stop. The 4runner seems a bit better throttle response, but it could be an illusion.

What brand did you go with?

yeah it's got a citrus scent haha. but yeah it's 2 cans. it says it's for your engine but same difference.
