Finally warmed up enough here in NH to get all the salt off and have a good snowbank photo shoot, all without having the doors freeze shut.

The past 2 days have been busy for me. New rear end, ome rear struts and Springs and a 2" body lift. As soon as I find a nut for the strut I'll be doing ome front struts and Springs. Drove it for the first time since last April today

Installed my Shrockworks front bumper (not fun at all).
Punctured the high pressure AC line while trying to fit the bumper into the brackets.
Replaced the AC line and recharged the freon.
Replaced one of my CV axles (much easier than I thought it would be).
It was a busy day.

Its a Walker. I got it from Rock Auto. The local Canadian stores were almost double the price. Still haven't gotten it in. The starter was a pain. Starts great now though. Hopefully get the exhaust done this weekend. I will let you know how it sounds after. Was out of town for a week on training so didn't get anything done. Damn forum never told me I had someone reply to my post. Sorry for the late reply.

Someone else recommended Walker to me. I'm not familiar with the name brand. Are you aware of the reputation whether its good or bad or just chose it mostly for price?

Installed new control arm bushings on driver side. One was completely shot! What a huge difference it made in the ride!! Now I will have to do the other side.

I have used Walker before on my old truck which was an 82 Toyota pickup and on my dads 91 Toyota pickup and it worked fine on those. Not the stainless ones though. I chose it because it is stainless and is supposed to be quiet like stock. I don't like loud trucks. Had a 3 inch straight pipe off the turbo when I put the 1kzte only 92 pickup and it sounded great but the noise wore on me. I like quiet and I don't want to change it again. It was $166 with shipping and tax for me from rock auto. Here in Canada the same would have been $285 plus tax.

Trust me, I've been trying. It's a process. Cold turkey never does it.

Try getting an e-cig. I know it helped my mom quit smoking(Cigs), there are different flavors and levels of nicotine. you can get 0 nicotine in some of the juices too. I know that's a suggestion for Cigs but you never know! maybe you'll like it.

I've been smoking marijuana since I was 16. I'm 22 now, and its extremely hard. I smoked about an 1/8 every 3 days and 1/4 a week. It's the high that keeps me coming back. Stress throughout the day at school and work, makes me want to go home and unwind with it. I'd be afraid e-cigs would get me hooked on nicotine. Cigarettes also give me a headache, so it'd be difficult. I also don't have much emotional support, as I keep my habit a secret. My girlfriend and best friend are the only ones that know. And by looking at me, you'd never think I smoke.

I'm attempting cold turkey this time and being a new father, I have a great reason to quit.

Sorry, didn't mean to turn the "What Did You Do to Your 3rd Gen Today" thread into an intervention.

Just ordered some Rigid Dually Floods and CBI ditch brackets after my first night drive with only the stock headlights - a much needed upgrade I found out.

Anyone else running these with good results I hope?

Hang in there brother - I was in your same spot 20 yrs ago and had to go cold turkey for job screening. It's really more habit than you think, after 3 weeks or so the habit part breaks and it gets much easier, after 4-6 weeks you won't even miss it.

Replaced my PCV valve. Mild VC gasket leak turned into drops on the ground in the parking spot a few weeks back. We'll see if it calms it down a bit until I can attempt to do my VC gaskets.

Here's what my PCV Valve & grommet looked like

Gunked up in the inside, but the ball valve on the inside still moved a little bit when I shook it... Anybody else replace theirs under similar circumstances and notice a difference with leaks?

Diodes

FUN WITH DIODES. Wired the swing away work light to have power from two sources: powered by reverse light circuit, then direct from the acc circuit via a switch on the dash. Wired in two diodes to prevent back flow of electricity to the other circuit.

I had someone hit me and run. So I replaced the tail light. I took the broken one and tinted it with vht niteshades and tested it out. Looks awesome!! I'm going to paint both tomorrow!
