Shaved my upper control arms so I could fit my new Fierce Attitude MT 35x12.5x17s. The extra rubber on the sides was rubbing compared to my old All Terrains.

How hard was it to remove those control arms !? I heard they r a pain...

I didn't think it was too bad at all. Three jaw puller that I rented from autozone made quick work of separating the upper ball joint post from the upper control arm. I think separating the upper ball joint from the knuckle is the painful part but I didn't have to do that

Finally got my cargo area bike rack all bolted up. Used a piece of 2 1/4x1, a fork block I got off amazon, and nutserts(or rivet nuts, whatever you wanna call 'em).

So I swapped out my CV axles for a set of rebuilt Toyota units.



For the life of me I can't get the boot normal. Any tricks?




Am I going to run into the same problem of the boots tearing?



Should I stretch them?

I would think you are OK. Those are some heavy duty boots. Manufacturer?

What is with all the anti seize? Rust prevention?

Same snorkel I'm gonna have. Its an easy install and it doesn't require the taco intake tube (I have 2 for sale btw if anyone plans on running an arb snorkel)
