thanks for the insight..figure when i do pull the trigger on the 99' coils i may as well replace the shocks too..and maybe ill put a spacer kit on for just 1" more..not trying to go too crazy

I put a set of GE Nighthawk Platinum headlights in today. They are so much better then what I believe were the original bulbs the truck came with from the factory. They are definitely brighter, have a much nicer white color (not blue though, I don't care for that), and best of all they are only $10 on amazon after a $10 mail in rebate! Can't beat that really.

Awesome! I've been thinking about doing this too. I'm worried about fitment though, can you post some more detailed close up pics?

I will get some more pics and post a new thread up over the holiday. It doesn't actually fit in the scoop...mounted right behind it with a simple bracket my neighbor welded for me. Metal screen stays in place, I just cut the back off the scoop and trimmed the plastic insert to the size of the led bar. We had to trim the bracket a little bit to fit over the supercharger but with a non s/c setup it would probably fit fine. My only concern is how well the bar will stand up to engine bay temps...so far so good but then again I don't drive around in boost all the time..and it is winter...summer may be a different story.
