Man I'm scared of the back shocks removal and replace, how am I going to get to the top nut of the shock?

It's really not that bad. Usually a 14mm racheting box end wrench and some time and effort (at least it was for my OEM replacements the prior owner installed). Depends on if the shock is aftermarket - I've seen 15mm and 17mm rear shock top nuts, if you can believe it.

When I changed them a few times it not on a lift. I dropped the spare and took it out for room to work, and of course had to contort my hands to do it. Once you have done it though, the other side is not difficult.

Oh, and today I cleaned the battery terminals and reinstalled the now recharged battery.

Also drove her to Harbor Freight and dropped $130 on a floor jack, 36" pry bar, tire spoons, 4lb dead blow hammer, and a headlight lens restoration kit for my Silverado.

And got a free 27 LED flashlight for my efforts... :banana:

Don't even sweat the nuts on top of the shocks. Take lose the bottom mount and then start bending the whole shock body. Work it back and forth a few times then rotate it 90 degrees, repeat until the shocks are free. The frame is plenty strong where the shocks mount.

Made some filler/step plates for the kick-out of the rock sliders. Keep little feet from slipping through, kids and dogs. 1st attempt with the new dimple die set.

Had her up on a lift today, changed out the Fuel Filter.
Eyeballed and wiped down as I went.
CRC'd all the connections that will be needed when I put in the Toytec Ult lift. Man I'm scared of the back shocks removal and replace, how am I going to get to the top nut of the shock?
Tranny filter next, so I'll check look at it again then.

Remove the lower bolt and then rock the shock back and forth until the upper stud breaks, it's very easy, mine were so corroded anyway I don't think tools would have done it.

Seafoamed yesterday. Today I cleaned the MAF, chef aged the oil, changed the oil filter and changed the spark plugs.

Had to replace my MAF.

replaced the fuel door spring

Replaced front sway bar bushings with shiny new red ones.

Also replaced the original steering rack bushings that had 365k miles on them...the center one was shredded to shit! I'm sure the leaking oil from the valve covers didn't help them either.

Three things I learned today:

• #1 The things people say will be hard—aren't, and the things people say won't be hard—ARE.
  
  The vertical center bushing I was able to push out with just my finger, but the horizontal drivers side bushing was a real mother-effer to get out!

• #2 If your going to spend the afternoon wrenching under your truck—skip the taco-truck burrito for lunch, cause apparently farts like to just hang out with you down there while you work.

• #3 The stock bottle-Jack and some deep sockets work great as a third hand to help with brackets that don't want to line up properly.

Installed an LED 3rd brake light. I work at a Honda dealer, and we replace these in civics often, I decided to see if I could fix one. I honestly don't remember what I did, maybe just reflowed the solder joints, but I got it working. So I took the brake light apart on the 4walker, hot glued this thing in, and connected it. Maybe not a huge difference, but I'm happy with it. Sorry I didn't take a before pic, or any during the process.
