4WheelSharts can go F themselves. "Yeah, that will fit a 2001".... Bastards. That front bumper took me Hours to fit correctly.

In good news. I took it out this weekend, and beat the living hell out of it. God I love this thing....

Unloading truck full after truck full of stuff in to your new garage when moving... not recommended.

I let all this crap fester for 2 months until yesterday (put up some wall storage stuff last week but still had entire middle of garage filled with boxes that had tipped over and whatever). 4runner now finally has a home after a 12 hour cleaning marathon, some more fasttracks, and a bunch of shelving. Not organized but at least she's indoors and I can get some long overdue maintenance done. In air conditioning. Will be the first car work I've ever done where I wasn't sweating my balls off laying in a parking lot, street, or exposed driveway.

Stuffed some 315s under Gypsy.

No body lift. Took an air saw to the fender and pinch weld. Rubs like crazy but it hauls ass now that I can put those 5.29s to good use.

Yea I do the same thing, my wife calls me crazy because if she trys to buy something I will tell her NO, go home, research it for a month before we buty it. LOL. So now she just buys stuff without telling me.

Ive rolled with some Rubicons, all they had was lift and 35" tires. Nothing would stop them, but I went with them the whole way. One guy was following me and always took an easier line. LOL.

So far my 4runner has surprised me everytime I take her out.

Trailer plug

I got tired of ripping off my trailer plug so I repositioned the plug to be in the bumper. Makes it a little more secure and now it doesn't break off every time I drag the hitch.

Yeah, I shocked the hell out of my buddy. He took the easy route every time (can't blame him. He's got a VERY capable 09 Gran Cherokee) and was caught off guard by how the 4Runner did.

I took the hardest line I could find, every time. I ended up removing my rear bumper last night when I got home. :rofl:

I twisted the living hell out of the driver side, side extension. It's also what hung me up like 9 times on 4 of the trails I hit yesterday. It ended up giving me about 45 minutes of extra drive time with all the maneuvering I had to do, to drive around the tires hitting the rear bumper and binding up.

So off she came. I'll warn ya, The runner is a bit ugly in the rear with no bumper and a hitch left... Time to order a new rear tube bumper.

went up to Portland ( Oregon) and picked up a full set of stock wheels with studded snow tires at a heck of a deal ( thanks Eric). Then went to andy and baxs ( surplus) got some missing camping stuff, then to re-rack to look at some racks ( no luck)

Have fun with the rear brake line. I just did mine with the Tundra upgrade this past weekend.

My suggestion is a flare wrench and a standard open end. Use the flare wrench to break it loose then use the open end to get it the rest of the way. There was so little room. I kept hitting my exhaust and the cross member when trying to use the flare wrench.

I dropped my tire, not sure i would have had the access / visibility i did with it there. Where it goes over the frame is where my wrench was hitting. Maybe it is different for the v6 that the 3rz but how much I could turn my wrench was limited by the cross member and the exhaust. Just took Way longer than replacing the front lines; I would say 4-5 times as long. Good luck buddy, I know you won't have too many issues.

Did a mock up of outside temp gauge. This gauge tells temp, time and volts. I will make a faceplate to mount the 2 buttons that switch between the readouts. Should fit in same spot right below display.
