In my area they're a good tailgater deterrent. They have second thoughts of getting too close when they realize what kind of damage that thing would cause to their car.

Since the 96 base model did not have a cabin air filter to replace so that the airflow through my vents improved, I had to take apart the blower under the dash on the passenger side to clean out all the crud I found in it...

I'm right there with ya, after doing this a couple times it's made me realize how much those cabin filters catch and how affective they really are.
More importantly how much easier it is than removing and cleaning the blower motor.

My key hasn't been turning the ignition real regularly (97) so I pulled the ignition cylinder and took out a few of the security pieces from the lock. Reassembled and put the cylinder back. Didn't work and since the cylinder won't come out if it's not in acc I had to drill out the release pin.

Good times.

Installed. I went with the full piping in black with taupe for the main color. Very happy with how they look/fit.

So can you clarify, these are just seat covers? Leather is still torn under etc?

I figured by the looks of your rig...I have the same set up in mine LC 8.75 wraps and the LC black Tokico's.
Have you done anything with your panhard bar or feel the need to?

Services my front and rear brakes, learned Krown rust control and plastidip don't like each other and changed my TPS sensor. A few weeks back I installed new denso iridium plugs and OML 10mm plug wires and after driving with the plugs and wires for a few weeks I thing that they are an improvement over the NGK set I ran for two months. Not sure if the gains outweigh the price difference but they are a well made set.

Got most of my TBU parts in, still waiting for the Spidertrax spacers and the pad shims to get here. Started pulling the plasti dip off the flares and rockers, ordered some Duplicolor bed coating to replace it. Was my plan all along, but been kind of slow getting around to it.

Matching Factory Spare

Copped a great spare tire on a factory rim tonight for just $75. Tires has half its tread still - the owner ran the vehicle into a ditch and broke one wheel. He's got two more just like this one if anyone is looking for a designer spare in the Knoxville, TN area!

HEATED MIRRORS on the 96! Finally!! Took forever to find a pair in the junkyard.
Thanks to SeanzOrz for his thread over on UY. Saved me a whole lot of time figuring out where the rear defrost wire I needed was. Awesomeness!
