Climbed up on the roof rack and re-installed the rain fly on my tent.
The rack made it a cake walk!

They are not available through Toyota anymore, they can sometimes be found from vehicles that are being junked, but most of the Surfs that can not longer pass the Japanese JCI inspection get shipped to Europe, Middle East and such as they still have many years of life left on them, but Japan Inspections process is pretty strict.
I usually search Yahoo Auction Japan for OEM parts that I am looking for, but these are a pretty rare find now a days.

Jacked up the back of the truck and saw how bad my wheel wobbles. Did a bit of investigating and concluded my axle is bent on the drivers side. So grabbed a new axle shaft, crap bearing on it.
So tomorrow, off to get some press work done at whichever machine shop will do it immediately. Got to love little surprises like that

Gotta love a clean IJM runner, it's probably because of your fairing (sp), but the rack doesn't look like its a full length rack. Anyroad one of these days I need to find my way north and tag along on a play day!

What brand of roof rack is that? I like that its full length and basically flat
I haven't or you'd have probably read about it before a bent axle. Do you need a long block?
I've already added power adders and boost to a handful of cars, my raptor even, they have ONE thing in common. Shit doesn't go as planned, when you tinker with it like I do especially, turn it up, swap pulleys, ect, problematic percentage is elevated.
To be honest, I'm asking myself, is it even worth it on this platform? It's easy to cash out and make a few bucks towards something else that I actually use more ultimately, or throw a big chunk of money at this truck to potentially make me hate it with build complications.

Ebay 99+ toyota 4runner headlights. Glass lenses, they where the cheapest on there so i was surprised it wasnt a plastic lense.
