Removed the tan pinstripes using the credit card method. The pinstripes didn't look horrible, just kinda made it look like an old man vehicle. I like the bare look better anyway. Also gave her a good bath.

- remanufactured calipers
- brand new brembo rotors
- akebono pads

probably one of the better upgrades I've done so far (and all by myself).

Wow. I like it. Funny you posted this today to because... I bought another 3rd Gen today that just happens to be hit (lightly) in the back. But it's rough overall. I'm entertaining the idea of doing a 1st Gen roof mod and half door mod and just wheeling the piss out of it. I'm good with a sawzall but I would need someone to weld a cage and metal into it to close up the open gaps from the cuts.

today i installed my front lift bilstein 5100 w/ toytec coilover, diff drop, Tacoma LBJ, INTRE, and OTRE......also a lil bit of rust prevention.....


TOMORROW:

Replacing Front and rear Sway bar endlinks along with sway bar bushings
Finish installing lift ( OME 890 in the Rear with Bilstein 5125)
Pull of Tundra 231mm calipers and spray red and finish cleaning up frame and rust prevention!! because well its everywhere and i gotta get rid of it!!!!


might rip the dash out and replace the rest of my lights in the dash w/ LEDs i got in a box....:dammit:

4-Ripcord motivated me to finally get a pair of Bilstein 5150's for the rear. I originally wanted to get them last year along with the Toytec coilovers but decided against spending the extra money at that time..

The 5125's were not enough for those HD coils and the rear end was bouncing around quite a bit.

I installed my 5150s yesterday afternoon. Went over to a friend's fancy new garage that he built in his back yard. It was a good thing that he has a lift because the 5125's were rusted on at the bottom and required considerable force and cussing to get them off. :bash:

The 5150's felt pretty stiff at first compared the the 5125's but have tamed the "HD 3.5" Downey coils" I have in the rear nicely. Today it felt great and handled really nicely.
