i got an old school alpine v-12 4channel
and
an old school punch amp for the boom boom,

i installed them when i first got the truckie,
didnt list them because it wasnt recently installed:nerd:

I had 2 V-12's in a GTA back in the day, best amp I have ever had, and I have had many.....

Just installed the Weathertech in-channel side window deflector set in -dark tint- from the Weathertech factory store Part# 820874 and I really like them. No kidding about the high quality of this product. It took a bit of patience to install but after watching the youtube install video I was able to do it with ease!

With the wife out of town, I had the day to paint my rims. Turned out pretty good. 2 coats primer 3 coats Duplicolor low gloss black engine paint.

i swapped out my first broken CV, dont ask me how its taken so long for me to break one but i finally and, and break it good i did. when i snapped it, it grenaded good, my wife said the dire flexed and looked like i pealed the tire off the rim and everyone else said the whole tire wheel flexed out a good ways. i didnt know how bad it really was till today when i went to change this out(i broke it on the 4th and just drove on it untill i had time today to change it -probably a bad idea looking at things now.) anyhow sometime while i was driving it like this it really came apart the outter housing separated and became lodged between the wheel and caliper, thus shaving my wheel down and groving it out bad. it also bent the piss outta my sway bar end link and actually broke two of the balls into multiple pieces. oh well i got a new on in today and cleaned out my caliper of all the aluminum it sucked up. -oh yeah my rotors have some gouges in them from parts of stuff...

Wow dude.. I must admit, that wasn't very smart to do!! If you can't fix it right away then don't drive it. A lot worse could have happened as well. Glad you got it fixed, be sure to check your brake lines as well as your abs sensor line. They can get ate up pretty easily driving on a broken cv even for a moment.

Well. Yesterday I drove it home form a two week trip and changed the oil. But I dropped the old filter and of course was gonna have to remove the skid plates to get it out. But didn't have time so I left it til today.

So today I washed it, scrubbed the wheels real good(shot left caliper left quite a mess) and yanked the skid plates. Since I had them off I decided might as well make them worth it so I scraped/scrubbed all the grease dirt and grime off of them. Went at them with some degreaser and my grinder. Cleaned up all the rust. Then primed and painted them bright red. Here's some pics.

And my wheel cleaner took the oaint right off my center caps so I had to paint them as well.
Here's a couple of them......

I'm going to paint the Toyota logo silver just need to get a smaller brush. And should I clear coat them? What's your thoughts.

And my air hasn't been cold at all the last couple weeks and its been like 90 degrees all week so I coughed up 37$ for a recharge can and gauge, and charged my AC system. Blows ice cold now.

Anything else??? Scrubbed my leather seats and conditioned them....
Oh and found a screw sticking out of the side of my tire...:banghead:

Dang... That's a good looking beast. And knowing you, you probably got it for a song. I have about the same thing, but automatic and blue/gray interior, no elaborate audio. Wanna trade? I prefer the tan interior and five speed. Congratulations!
