Yes they are a tad bit pricey new but I got these ones for a pretty darn good deal but were far from my first choice. Never the less I have heard good thing on them. The duratracs are a wicked tire for there price range. I have them on the back of my 2wd work truck and they hold up awesome

I'm glad to hear it... The wheels and tires are going to be the last on my Mini build on the advice of the shop that i am getting them from.

While i am at it... here is the result of a visit to the local dealership... since i cant show them to you after they are installed.
Brakes upgrade will be done on tuesday.

so i order parts for the tundra brake swap 2 days ago, got it last night and started the install the sameday. Figuring this would only take hour or 2..... IT was a war!!! Advance gave me the wrong brake caliper they ordered the smaller brake caliper that actually fit my 99 4runner,when i looked it up online by part # it said it was the correct part....but it looked exactly like the caliper i had, So i ran straight here and started reading on BIGFISHALLDAYs install. After driving back to advance and them telling me that they did NOT get the correct parts!!!! They looked it up in system and realized that they had ordered the smaller pads. Funny thing is they could see the bigger calipers but couldnt get them....n their system they were actually $200 more!!!! GOOD THING i have a good buddy that works there....he ended up cross referencing part #s and finds out he actually had a 231mm brake in the store and that i could drive about 15 minutes down the road to another advance and pick up the other caliper!!!! He then looks at me and says that he is going to go ahead and exchange the parts with NO extra expense and that the CORE Fee i would be receiving back would NOT be 100 bucks but 120!!!!! HE said that he knew that when i had came into the store i had been very specific on the parts and what i wanted to do, and for all the trouble i went through i deserved a break!!! I WAS AMAZED!!! i had just bought rotors and brakes not 3 months ago for the brake calipers i had on there, so then he tells me that i can bring in the rotors and he can give me store credit so that i can buy my Tacoma LBJ, UBJ, ITRE, OTRE!!! i know its only 50 bucks but i just dropped $8**something on an Optima Battery, o2 sensor, complete tundra brake swap (w/ the wrong brake calipers, but got right ones now!!!) Its been a long 2 days, trying to get everything finished before the lift gets here on the 1st. after i finish all the Tacoma LBJ, UBJ, ITRE, OTRE, i get to replace ALL the bushing and sway bar links front and rear!!!!:ybrick:.

Then hopefully it will be trail ready!!!:dammit:

You got part of this wrong. You want Taco LBJ's and OTRE's. But 4Runner ITRE and UBJ's.

I did an easy upgrade yesterday. Installed a pair of Cree 5W LED reverse bulbs.
Got them on ebay for 23.99 including shipping. They do look considerably brighter than the stock bulbs but I still need to try them out at night.

Drove it to a coworker's house, whose son just bought a 2002 2wd 4runner, to put the loose bolt back in the rear hatch, because it was starting to scratch the glass. With a little blue loctite, it won't be coming loose again.

yeah i was fully determined to paint it white, but talked myself out of it. no sense in repainting something with no dents or scratches, my roof is the only crappy spot on it, but i may paint the roof white like fjs because all the clear is almost off the roof. i love the white tops on fjs and have yet to see it on a runner :naughty:

I decided FIRMLY at the last minute to go the way of the 231mm upgrade... it's waay more than i wanted to spend.. but i hear that it is SOOOO worth it... so we will see.. luckily i did get some what of a... wait for it..... BRAKE on the calipers... the rest not so much.. this week i'll order my bumpers they will take a month. i guess the rails took just about 3 weeks to a month..
