Excellent choice! Did you get the attachment to plug in your ipod using the cd changer line? Another flaw is how effing hot the thing gets, but that's how it gets the sound, MO POWA

SA's are good tires, had them on my 1st gen, and I have 4x 265/70's in my basement @ 50% for spares on the 3rd gen. Will make great trail tires if I ever want to try some rock crawling. Of course 295/75/16 Duratracs are the long term plan, but that requires spacers and trimming. I don't want a lift, I would rather be low and wide.

I did indeed. Very handy.

I was contemplating Duratracs, but as much as I drive I think I'd rather have that 50k mileage warranty on the SA's.

Installed Pioneer head unit and sub. Also took the runner out wheeling for the first time. made it to Forest Lake in American Fork Canyon (Utah) without any damage at all except for some good old Rocky Mountain Pinstriping on the driver door. All in all, awesome weekend for me and the runner!

Drove it from Pismo Beach, Ca to Houston, Tx in a day and half :driving: During the drive I did find out that my trans temps are a little high and will have to address that soon but overall it made it here without a problem

Washed & Waxed then ....


Installed new rear Toyota LC shocks, front sway bar (bought from COB then refurbished by me), new bushings and custom front end links from STICK_FIGURE.

I have been without a sway bar for a year; wow what a difference it makes to have it back on.

I purchased the end-links from Stick Figure ...

They seem more than beefy enough to do the job.

Thoroughly cleaned the interior. Reran my power wire for my subs through a slit in the grommet under the steering column instead of around the grommet. Put in rubber floor mats. Productive day.

I ordered StopTech stainless steel brake lines, Powerslot drilled and slotted Tundra rotors, Powerslot performance pads, and Wagner refurbished tundra 231mm calipers... Looking to perform the Tundra brake upgrade in the next week or 2. :reddance:

Hopefully after the upgrade I won't be warping rotors left and right. :moping:

I just did this last week .you wont be sorry.. I dont know why it took me so long to do this.. I should have gone the way of slotted Tundra rotors

134k miles on it, truck feels a bit more responsive and the initial start up is a lot stronger I find. I've been driving around town and it seems my MPG's has improved as well. Looking forward to the fuel filter and the DENSO IK22 spark plugs.
