I drove mine to Louisville to purchase another one. The other one was a POS. partly my fault, should have asked for more pics. But he grossly misrepresented the condition while talking to me. At least we got to eat at a bombass seafood restaraunt on the river.
On a positive note, the black one I posted about is still available and being checked out tomorrow...stay tuned.

I couldn't take it any longer and finally bought some Coverking seat covers to hide the nasty, crusty front seats. I love the feel and the look of these covers.
Then installed some DRLs in the fog light caps

Well, I've been busy with the T4R the last couple days. Painted sliders, got the lift on, alignment, 285 75 16 duratracs mounted on 80 series LC wheels (no spacers. They barely clear the 231mm tundra brakes). Oh, and hit 220k miles!

Just scored a factory roof rack and fog lights for free. The only thing that would have made it better was if the truck I took them off of would have had a supercharger.
Mine was the same way when I bought the truck. I wouldn't worry too much about the charred plastic unless it's falling apart. I suspect it's because Toyota specs an 18W bulb but the standard replacement bulb is 16W. I used a 16W and I'm not too concerned about it.
Yesterday I drained my coolant like I had been intending to. I hadn't intend it to drain it on a trail though. Looks like those new skid plates just moved further up the "to get" list! It basically happened about 30s after I was telling the wife how much we needed to get some skid plates. Then came a big hole which I applied the tried and true "giver and hope for the best" technique, which worked. Well, we got through the hole at least and my son had a great time cheering us on. And maybe a new rad depending what further inspection reveals. Got towed out and home by my neighbour with his chevy.

Looks like a bunch of scrap metal:
im more than impressed with the quality of their welds and metal. TG really stepped their game up, i will definitely have no problem with running any of their in house products.

I am going to pick up another bulb tomorrow and see if it works. It does look like there was a short or something. I haven't seen a bulb warp like that from just blowing. There had to be some serious heat coming from somewhere.

Found out my 3rd brake light was out and when I pulled the bulb it had a weird bubble in it from where it blew. I have never seen a bulb do this before. Also, around where the bulb mounts, the plastic is very dark and almost looks burnt. Is it supposed to look like that?
Yep...just like i_bRad and yourself, my bulb was like that too. It's been so long since I swapped it out that I almost forgot about it. If I remember right, my replacement bulb was 16W too. No issues now. Still works.

I really like those covers... I can really tell, but are they cloth? or are they that stretchy like light neoprene material.... they look great..

Nice choice on mods... I really wish I had a need for one of those roof racks. Definitely the nicest one I've seen for our Runners.
