I picked this up last night for $250 it is a 99 sr5 2wd with only 135k on drivetrain. The PO was driving on I85 in NC and over corrected and flipped it over, he only had some scratches and bruises. It has only had 2 owners and the glove box was full of manuals,window sticker and service records! I hope i can install the factory cd/cass in my limited!

Bought a one owner 98 Desert Dune. All service done at local Toyota dealership.
Painted all skid plates, hitch and rear frame rails. Also changed the oil and filter as well as the pcv and grommet.
Next up is plugs, wires and tranny cooler.

Broke mine today.
Getting a horrible thud-thud noise at slow speed that turns into a very bad shake at highway speed. Drove it the 10mi home after it started making the noise, will probably try to start taking it apart and diagnosing tomorrow.
Initial thoughts are a bad U joint or double cardan, or a shot pinion bearing.

This was earlier in the day, good thing I got back down the mountain at least.

Cleaned up the Tundra calipers I bought from the wrecking yard. Now they are a Ford Engine Blue. Waiting for them to fully dry then time to put them on. Thinking about getting pads and rotors from Napa

Lol its all good. Bought it with 200k on the clock, no doubt I'll break more stuff over time. Just gives me opportunity to put it in better mechanical condition and upgrade/mod as necessary.

Finally got to drive around with the UG this weekend. I love it. I have an Aeroforce Interceptor II in my Powerstroke and the UG is much more versatile and informative. Worst part is that the Interceptor was >$200. Too bad the UG doesn't work in the truck. In the 4R, though, it's totally changed the way I drive. Right now we're mainly using it to watch our MPGs. I still need to calibrate for 265s so I'm not right on, but it's a fun little game to see how high we can get the instant mpg #. So far 104 is the best MPG we've gotten. Haha.

Not today but yesterday, finally finished the CV replacement then just rode around for a chits and giggles...and to charge battery back up.

Tracked down my shudder issue- turns out when i installed my lift wheels tires, that the rear wheel studs are a hair longer than the 1" wheelspacers I installed so they dug into the back of the wheels, then wallowed a dimple into them and started to wobble and come loose. Whoops. Well, pulled them off, 5 minutes sanding down the studs about an 1/8" and then reinstall and good as new. Glad it wasnt anything more major and glad I caught it before a tire came off.:redbrick::happens:

My battery was dieing as I drove home from chico the other day (started at 12volts and went as low as 6volts by the time I got home) and now wont even start. Removed my alternator and battery to have them tested at autozone. Both tested to be normal. Damnnit! The fun begins lol
