finally spent the money on much need parts.$400+ for lbj's,ite's and ote's..bummed because i already did that on the old truck and this christmas bonus money could have been sliders.... =-(

Sat in it on the side of the freeway because I ran out of gas 2 miles from the gas station. Strangely I put about 2.5 gallons in and went to the gas station and it only took 14.5 gallons. Where did the other 1.5 go?

Later though I drove my daughter downtown for a daddy daughter date. Got to love eating schwarma's, ice cream and checking out a train exhibit with your two year old.

Moved into my new office today and used a 5x9 uhaul trailer.

I've been under the impression my tank is 16.5 gal in my 96. Did they make it bigger 99+? Or am I just completely wrong altogether... I've had it wayyy below E and when I pulled into the gas station and filled up it topped off at 16.2... or does your comment still answer my question lol

Thermostat 180*

Wasn't sure until I drove it around, but after replacing probably a perfectly good thermostat, I realized that, in doing so, my interior heat has not increased beyond a chilly 60-ish degrees no matter how far or fast I drove my 'Runner around. Frowns.

I really don't want to crack open the heater element for the passenger compartment. Maybe I can use a solvent to break down the particles in the cooling system because there is some. I don't know where it is coming from.

Anybody know what I should use to flush the radiator or maybe replace the radiator altogether?

Changed out both front axles. Boots started to leak after my lift. Never tore, just leak and the bands were very loose. Getting ready to test drive it now. Quite a bit of beating on the pry bar to get the old ones out, but new ones went in very easy.

Noticed my next upgrade will be new heavy duty front swaybar end links. Mine are bent and bushing are shot.

How's your tire clearance with the outboard shocks? Took me a few tries before I could stuff mine without hitting. I still need to adjust my trac bar a little to stop rubbing the passenger side.
