Looks GREAT Brian!
One question... do the corners come apart like the headlights? Just bake them at the same temp and everything? I want to do something to mine, but was sceptical of all that plastic...

Kudos for the nuts to take on a retrofit, I wish I had the cash to do one myself.

Yes you have to bake them.

There are small clips but unless you bake them pushing the clips in will do nothing.

Going to try and take my splits 5s to get balanced and hopefully put on for when I do the LBJ this weekend

I've been thinking about doing this same thing and put then in the OEM fog slots. Looks good! Did you use lamin-x or something else?

I bought this stuff from Amazon. Pretty cheap and easy to work with. They carry amber color tint as well.

I saw you had 2 different prices on your balljoints. You didn't happen to order one for a Tacoma by mistake did you? Maybe its all good bit id check before installing as that would be a pain to find out in the middle of the job.

Btw ppl do use the Tacoma balljoint but you have to change out your tierod ends as well.

First thing I did when I saw that was ask the parts guy and he had no real answer as to why the left LBJ is less than the right. Check other dealers and they too had a different price for the L/R

Weird, mine were the same price as well as several others that have posted prices. Maybe you caught one side on sale? Good luck with the install. You'll feel more confident driving on the freeway afterwards.

Mounted my freshly painted corner lights to match my retrofit.

Just bake them @ 275 for 6-7 mins and they come right apart. More details in my retrofit thread.

I ended up disconnecting the parking lights because they are very bright despite the 1 coat of night-shades tint and the halos are still enabled and they perform a similar function.
