Headlights!

Just received my new headlights on Friday and I intend to install them today!

I have to thank the @%$@#@% idiot with an F350 with duallies, and a toolbox on the back, for speed by me (it was snowing hard and I was doing a reasonable 50) and cutting in front, and spraying me with road gravel. One rock went through my right headlight and 3 rocks left their mark on my windshield!:mad2: luckily, my insurance carrier covers windshield dings for free... still...

he or she, what ever it wants to be So big shout out to Thardy (Tyson) for hooking me up with a deal of a life time! and getting it all installed really fast.

I still need to get some new tires. I'm almost set on some duratracs 267 75 16's but the guy at Discount Tire told me they wear too fast and don't last long so now I'm kinda second thinking the tire situation.

I'm kind of confused on the ride. It almost feels like the rear is floating on ice but that may be my sub-consciousness making me think i'm floating with the higher road height

Specs
Rear: LC coils in the back. we counted 8 rings i think? The colors were green pink and white from the bottom up (again i think)

Front: 1.5 metal top plate spacer with another half inch polyurethane puck.
and some brand of diff drop

k finally here are pics. I'll take more when i get some new tires, but this is what i got so far

Got my Runner Washd and finally got the tacoma hubs

Are these more beefy than the stock 3rd gen hubs?

Not necessarily, they are just manual hubs. The 4 Runner comes with the ADD or (Automatic Disconnecting Differential) which leaves the front axles spinning all the time. Being able to unlock the front hubs will allow you to have 2lo.

Went to Firestone for a lifetime alignment! Best 160 bucks I have spent at a shop in a long time. It's good to have a hook-up, because that would have cost me 190 bucks normally!

Added a WMW rack w/2 extra HIDs, 2 side and 2 rear LED banks, freshly painted sport hood, rewired a bunch of loose leads/fuses into a blue sea fuse box, and a platinum battery to replace my failed optima.

Haha, well I'm not going to 35's anytime soon. My fiance already complains about my 32's, she is going to be real annoyed at the 33's and 35's would not be pretty :flame:

I almost put them on this morning and went wheeling, but I didn't have the time today and wanted to bump up the coilovers to adjust for the sag from the Budbuilt.

Got em' in!

Got them in! Very easy swap, only took 1/2 hr... They are way brighter! They look better too! I looked around wreckers for Toyota Headlights and found a couple but they all wanted $150 a side, without the side lights!! These are Eagle Eyes, with side lights, up from the USA and they cost me $161 including taxes, duty, shipping. I know they're aftermarket, but I've had a good look at them and there is virtually no difference between them and the old stock lights, aside from the fact, these are the 02' headlights now on my 98'.

took my front sway bar off. It's like a whole new animal.

Conner get some extended sway bar links (from stickFigure) and put the sway back on when on-road. Trust me its way safer with it on although it does feel cool driving "loose"

I ran without one for a year then put it back on. Wow so much safer on road with the sway bar.

Also there is no need to remove the rear sway bar, you can reach full flex with it on.

Ya man, same here. Ive got some things planned for when these paychecks start coming in from the job I just started.

Thanks! Yeah I almost went to Hollister today, but decided to work on the truck and get some stuff done at home. I'd be down for a wheeling trip in February. I definitely need to trim though. The tires are rubbing the front bumper already.

February sounds good to me.I'ts been a while since i've been to Hollister,we'll see maybe you can start a wheeling thead for next month and see how it goes. u still have plenty of time to do your trimmings by then.. lol
