Finally done!

I just finished replacing the rack and sway bar bushings, this afternoon, and I can say, it was a PITA! Again, I'd like to thank the guys that posted how-to links, which came in handy. Thank god for my electric impact driver! I also discovered my drivers side splash plate was cracked and broken, which I weld-bonded back together... I know, I know, anyone that reads this will probably ask why I'm not replacing this with armor... one reason: $$$!

I hope you don't plan on running any bigger tires than what you have on there. Those sliders look too long and look like the tires will rub when stuffed/flexed.

I think that's just the angle making it seem that way...mine go all the way along the rocker panel, and I run 285s without any problem.

Hi all. 1st Post.

In the last 3 weeks:

Purchased from CL seller.

(Big Gov’t rant) Insured/Title/Sales Tax/Registered/Tagged. Disassembled/reassemble parking brake pivots, easy evening project. Checked LBJ. Safety inspection and emissions inspection. Local registration decal... Windshield thoroughly covered with mandatory stickers (/Big Gov’t rant)

Burned up my 3rd tank of gas... actually 1st completely full tank & I managed to remember to reset trip odometer. Got just at 300miles with a light foot, primarily commuting in Washington DC traffic.

The no rush/next few months to do list: Timing belt/water pump/fan belts, valve cover gasket, radiator or external tranny cooler, brakes, tires/align. Then hand off to the wife as her daily driver / mall cruiser :redbrick: and get back to the other project in the garage.

I hope they're not too big ordered them from BAMF specific to the 3rd gen. They are essentially a 32x10.50 tire and I might go one size up. Here's another picture of just the side view. I think it was just the angle of the first picture.

Just rolled the dice on a re-certified catalytic converter (2 of them actually, for my '01) that has a 4-month warranty and was $300 (shipped). Hoping to solve my ongoing CC problems once and for all (or at least for the rest of this truck's life)!

re did the conectors at my temp sending unit for the trans, they where not doing so well, the sheathing on the wires was starting to melt back, so i put in new bigger wire, and put like 4 layers of heat-shrink on them. a much cleaner look if i do say so myself.

also installed a new set of horns, my old ones got wet too many times and took a dump on me. i just got some F-350 horns off ebay for like $10 bran new (i think it was something that a shop was dumping out cause they were still in the factory ford box and never installed..) they work great and i have my horns back. -been running around for over a month with no horns.

Pulled out the right corner lens for the first time ever to change out the factory dead 2825 bulb. The bottom stub for the lens is in there, a real PITA to pull out. Switched out the regular 2825s to LEDs. We will see how long they last.

Primed and painted my Stubbs SKO sliders. Had to heat up the garage first to get the paint to act right.

Also, my sub arrived finally. Headed outside to test her out now!

Did the AndyMod 2.0 today! Ran into some issues with connections, but got those figured out. That wire was a ***** to get to! Then I tested it out in the 6 inches of snow we got today!

Well I must have pinched an o-ring last time cause it runs sweet now.
New re manufactured injectors, gaskets, and washers on the fuel rail.
Runs strong.
