What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Today I programmed my second (spare) remote entry fob (I lost my entire keychain last week). Took a few tries but eventually got it.

And yesterday I plasti-dipped the 3 emblems on the rear of the 'runner :biggrin2: Can't wait to do the chrome bumpers and the chrome fender trim.

I just welded tabs extended to the pinch weld around the window and used self tapping screws into the pinch weld with some loctite. Make sure your screws don't contact the glass. I had to notch the plastic panel to fit, but it looks extremely clean. It's very solid, and I don't intend to put more than a few pounds of 1st aid gear on it.

Not at all. If the back windows aren't down I can barely hear it. I ran redline shockproof 75w-90 so there is always the option to thicken it up. Btw I used your write up, made things a piece of cake.

Installed my new BOSS coilovers and 1.25" Spidertrax. Today going to lift the rear with OME 890s and 5125's. Have a friend coming down to zap on the pan hard drop and help out.

Tomorrow I will pick up my tires and get an alignment.

Nice I have been running i think pennsoil syn 75w-140 with no issues. Either gonna swap to redline or amsoil. Glad to hear that my write up streamlines the install for you

Well I plastic dipped the rear badges and put in my divider. It's not structural but it works well as a divider and a place to hang stuff on.

Where did you get the cargo barrier? I would like something like this to keep cargo in back

I actually made it for my FJ but it fits in the runner perfectly. Its made out of an F150 bed extender, the bends worked. You just have to take out a couple of inches in the middle and extend the legs. No bending needed. Its not strong enough to act as a cage by no means but as long as you anchor it right it'll hold 100lbs or more.

I'm thinking of something that keeps cargo in the back during a hard stop or rear end collision or what not. Passenger protection. I had one made from webbed straps for my land rover but can't for the life of me remember where I got it.

Have you checked with Raingler? I think they have Webbing to fit just about anything.
