What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Today I got my Chevy load adjusting shocks in and took it for a test drive. Concidering I went from stock toyota shocks with 230,000 miles on them to coil over chevy shocks, it felt like a brick going down the road. After awhile it started to loosen up and after I tested out the overloads with 500lbs concete in the back the springs settled a little and the ride is just fine unloaded. I would really recomend these for anyone who does a lot of hauling!

Be sure to keep an eye out on your shock mounts with those load adjusting shocks, I have seen them cause serious damage to shocks mounts after a while.

4Runners do not need a spoiler and projector upgrade has a strong utility value vs a spoiler which has none.

It's a love hate relationship, but damn, this isn't the first time shes hit someone because of lack of paying attention. At least she already called her insurance . They are suppose to call tomorrow to set up a time to look at it.

I didn't personally do anything, but I got a call from the shop and they said my rear diff was splattering gear oil along the underside of my runner. Ugh.

Thats the one I hate about the front diff is that damn 12mm hex. You have a PN for that tacoma drain plug?

The part number is 90341-24014. The depth to width ratio is much higher with this 10mm plug. It is way bettter. It is no wonder why Toyota decided to switch them from the 12mm. The question is why would they ever use such a shallow large hex in the first place??

I finally began installation of the power inverter that I snagged out of a Pontiac Vibe aka Toyota Matrix along with the Toyota style switch and plug in. When done it should be a pretty clean setup! I had too many filler plates on my dash and console! :happy:

Haha sweet, thanks, can't wait to get them on with the 315s. I'm sure they'll look good when I repaint the runner, going with monstaliner. Desert sand tan with black accents.
