Replaced the starter contacts... Starts right up.... What a pain in the ass though... Took all day yesterday.... Lots of sanity and warm up breaks hi of 12 yesterday!
I'm getting a bit of electrical smell after I start it, not sure what that is about.. I'll see if I can post the video of me starting it for the first time.

Rear suspension work
Body roll was getting out of hand. Already had KYB Gas-a-just shocks/struts replace shot stock shocks last year. Today I had the following installed:
From Toytec:
OME 906 coils
FULLY ADJUSTABLE REAR DOM LCAS
FULLY ADJUSTABLE REAR DOM UCA'S
From RockAuto:
Deeza TYL602 End Links
Coolant flush with Toyota Genuine Fluid while it was in the shop.
No alignment yet but they said I should get one ASAP. Also said I should get a new sway bar due to the minor lift and that the links or arms were straight up and down (like factory) instead of at an angle like intended. I have no idea what that last part means.
The body sway or roll at highway speeds was pretty bad. I would hit a bump and keep rocking left and right for a few seconds. The drive home from the shop was much improved. It feels stiffer and more solid now. And although I didn't take before measurements, it feel higher as well. The minor rear sag I had seems to be gone. The below pic was just taken, with my rear cargo box full of tools and gear in the back.
Measurements taken from the red line:
Driver Front: 35"
Passenger Front: 35"
Driver Rear: 36"
Passenger Rear: 35.5"
As fate would have it, my odo also hit a cool # today:

Tossed around the idea of doing a lift and tires or doing a single turbo. Turbo won, ordering a Godspeed kit as soon as the Feds give me my interest free loan back.

I started on my Savage like skid plates this weekend. At this point I'm almost done with the first section. I still need to grind everything done, and make another pass so I can round over the edges. I also need to drill the mounting holes and the holes on the side. I'm also going to add some gussets on the front lip since I've heard that is a spot that likes to bend.
This is what I was going for.
Is this is what I have so far.
I used 3/16" hot rolled sheet for this. I used a grinder to cut about 90% of the way through, and then I was able to bend the metal by hand. I think it turned out pretty good, and can't wait to get it finished.

Did u follow a pattern or measurements , if so where from ? Or did u just measure them urself ?

I made a cardboard template before I started. This is the one I started with, and I did change it up a bit to get a better match. I can get measurements if someone is interested. I'd also consider putting this into Solid Works or CAD if people were interested in.

I've thought about doing this so many times. Its just that one mod that I never seem to get around to. Looks great though.

Ya, it took me forever also, I took the scoop out about a month and half ago and just now reinstalling it... Bitter cold tends to slow the mod-bug down.... But I really like it.
Making the scoop actually work like a scoop is almost worthless and incredible time consuming... I feel this is the lesser of 2 evils...
