thanks man... Its just a grille out of a five lug taco then i cut out the stock grilles insides, made a chicken wire frame, put mesh on the wire and an emblem out of a 1980 series pickup... it was relatively easy to do plus i have pictures from the build too!![/QUOTE]

The last pic is before long travel and with the oem 4runner grille, the first is when i was fitting up the tacoma grille and getting my ideas, 2nd and 3rd are with mesh and grille after i cut out the stock grille insides, in the 4th and 5th you can see the round lights and blinkers and the plastic i cut a hole in to make the proper-sized hole for the lights...i definitely love the retro look over the stock... especially cause the 80 series pickup is by far my favorite generation i can go take some more too if anyone is interested to see how it all mounts

Changed the oil and just rolled over 245,000 miles...still going strong!

Took off the charcoal canister on my 2001. I have been getting EVAP codes for nearly 100k miles (had every valve supposedly replaced by stealership under extended warranty but CEL kept coming on so I just reset it over and over and...). I flooded the charcoal canister with brake cleaner until it came out clear and let it dry in the sun on blacktop for 3 hours.

Meanwhile I replaced the valve stem on my original spare. Replaced everything with no mystery hoses!

Time will tell if this fixes anything. Beats $500 for a try! Saw this idea on another thread some time back, and it looks like it may have worked.

The front is screwed through the headliner, Back mounts actually screwed through headliner and into what I believe is the cross support for the roof.

Gotcha. Did u end up pulling the liner down so I could see the support or just guess?

Fresh Lift!

Bought my 3rd gen 3 weeks ago and today was the day she got jacked up...installed my new OME 3" lift this weekend and finished it up this morning! Now it's time for bigger rubber...thinkin' bout 265/75's, but 285's would sure look nice...
