You're thinking of Tacoma's as 95.5-97 (I believe) have issues with their ECU's and the supercharger. 4runners don't have any issue with a supercharger.

Got a set of 5100s for the front (pull offs from a tundra/100 bucks and almost new)... Im going to try and use the factory coil for now??
Coils and 5100s for the rear, a used set of 255/75 17 bfg mud terrains (@ 70% tread left, figured it was a good enough deal), new 17" wheels, EBC brake pads, EBC rotors, SS brake lines, Steering rack bushings, I picked up a skid plate (skid row offroad, a customer couldn't use it with his bumper so I got it at their cost...) Overall not a bad day.

Changed out the last of my original Densos and went camping; fuel mileage was almost 23mpg which is great considering HP zapping altitude and a lot of elevation changes.
23 is great! I have 265 k and get 21-22 on average, which I am pleased with that

Finished installing auto dim, compass, and thermometer rearview mirror. Bought the mirror form member nissanh and installed using his write up. He answered all my questions and when the temp sensor wasn't reading correctly he quickly sent me out another. Guys like that are what makes this forum such a great community.

today i nearly punched my fender trying to install the BOSS lift for my 99 runner. 6 hours later the miramar hobby shop closed for business and i have two coil overs in with 5 threads below the lock collar, a maxed out balljoint, and screaming CV angles; as well as one shock *almost* installed...fighting to get that ****ing nylock nut secured. i work on ****ing helicopters day in and day out, who would've thought id have this much trouble with a simple lift...? round two tomorrow.

Yep, I bought it today. Nope, I didn't roll it, or crash - I mean I paid for it. 2000 limited 171k miles, $3260. Titled, registered, truck plates w/ custom holders (lol see! customizing on day one - I'm hooked) drove it home, started cleaning then took the family for a drive.
Got a bonus too since the last owner left the ashtray full of quarters and change. Bonus! He did neglect to tell me the parking brake didn't work, so it's the least he could do. Found you all. Very glad to be here.

Got a hell of a sunburn today doing axles and fluids. 320oz of liquid consumed, peed like twice. Ouch. I got this Kawasaki 120v impact gun from Amazon the other day and finally got to use it. Knocked out the axle nuts like cake, and saved me time everywhere it would fit. Love. Got two reman'd axles from CJV axles, they're like 1.5 miles from my house!
Had to run out to get a pry bar and hammer to whack it with.
Passenger axle
Drivers side axle. Hahaha, just GONEEEE. Goop'd all over me when I was expecting fluid from differential, so yeah.. got my legs and parking spot with this junk.
Also did front and rear differentials and tcase, all now on Mobil 1 synthetic. Only thing that sucks is the rear diff drain plug fell in to the pan, fished it out and cleaned it up and it looked like it had a washer... but then I found the washer later in the pan. Maybe previous owner double washered, maybe I'm crazy, but hasn't wept anything so I'm gonna hope it's good. Would hate to have to drain it again. Oh yea, also drilled two holes under my hood for CB mount only to realize it wasn't meant to be. Nail polish over the holes, gonna get a proper custom bracket I guess.

WTH you got coming out of that CV axle man? lol. Looks like oily milk.
