What did you do to your 3rd gen today?

Installed an OEM foglight switch for my front LED bar. Toyota part #00550-35976

Top = ground
Middle = 12v
Bottom = to relay switch

Up next: Tundra caliper rebuild and Brake upgrade

High heat primer and waiting for paint.

Birds, on the interstate. They fly out, then swoosh to the side, or up, or wherever. Like one per mile of interstate travel. This one, 600 miles/4 days ago, did not luck out. Unfortunately I just discovered it this evening. I took this little guy from western CO to Moab and back :sad:

I didn't see him do the swoosh to the side, nor did I see him tumbling in my rear view. Worst part is I yanked on his tail feathers to the point that I thought he was going to rip in half and he's still stuck in there. Assuming he's deeply woven in to my new radiator and baked to a crisp.

Also, 4R sits on stock wheels with bald/nail filled tires from previous owner and on stands up front for the night / tomorrow during the day. Taking 4R tires in the back of my Tacoma to get the TPMS swapped back in to taco's stockers - last piece I needed to iron out before selling it.

Nice, I snagged a housing and elocker third about a month ago for $120 at a self service salvage yard. I don't have a use for it but I figured I might want a spare actuator down the road.

What are your plans for wiring it up? I created a post over at yotatech that shows how to use of the factory switch without the headache of using the ecu.

Dang and I thought I got one of the best deals! And that's exactly what I need. I wasn't able to get the complete wiring all I got was the switch and then snipped the wires close to the 3rd. Could u send me a link to that? Seems like it's exactly what I'll have to do

I have the ecu for sale if your interested.

I am not sure it will do him any good since he is 2WD. The 2WD ECU may not talk to the elocker module.

in the last 2 weeks toytec ultimate lift, timing belt and water pump, plugs and wires, changed the fluids in the transfer case and diffs, changed the windshield
I have to get rid of this traction control I cant believe how worthless this thing is in any mud

I pulled the wheel well cover to unplug the broken power antenna. Needless to say, I will be going to either NAPA or the local Toyota dealership in the morning to get some replacement plastic clips. I'm tempted to pick up the parts to do the tacoma whip mod while I already have it apart.
