What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Super excited, and I must say I have two pretty awesome parents. I am 22 years old, haven't lived at home in over 3 years, but they still know how to suprise me with the little things like these. For my birthday they handed me a little box and it had this brand new shift knob in it!

with the help of a few buddies who are wiring geniuses, i had some under hood LEDs installed and also some LED rock lights
the rock lights are wired to an OEM aux light switch in my blanks and we fit a switch under the hood for those lights
LEDs are cheap, but damn they're a pain to mess with



 
I installed the scanguage 2 and I'm loving it. Trying to figure out all the temps though. Tyranny seems to be around 140 +/- 5 deg on the highway and around 170 in town. But anyhow it's fun.
 
Replaced the CV boot on my spare CV so I can install it and replace the CV with another torn boot. Really simple job IMO and now I will have to fully intact CV's again. Also took my daughter, niece and my daughters friend on a hike. The back of our 4runner's are not meant for 2 full size car seats and a booster. What a PITA getting them all in and buckled. Had to use my shoulder to close the door. Might have to get a bigger car for the wife if #2 comes around soon...
 
Oil and filter change, washed and waxed. Looks better than the day I brought it home. 180,000 miles.

Discovered a slight coolant leak on the lower radiator hose. Seems to be a drop or two per day.

New Shoes

Got new wheels and some Duratracs.

first i have to get all the maintenance done and get it registered. then i plan to put the rtt on it so its adjustable up and down so i can transport my dirtbike and jet skis. from there who knows.

You register trailers out there? We don't have to register them unless they are over 3K in wisconsin. Just one of the benefits of being in a farm state I guess lol.

Sounds similar to what I want to do with my rtt. I am excited to see how you end up doing it.
 
Attempted to change the O2 Sensor in my '98 and the nuts are so rusted on I can't remove them and rounded one off. :redbrick: I also cannot find where to plug it into because the wire goes up and over the trans. I've got an appointment with a shop today to get a u-joint replaced and I think I'll let them take care of that too. I wish I had a garage...

PB blaster, torch, and vice grips :)

The plug is just right up out of sight (at least on mine). It wasn't too bad.
