That's a very bad spot to keep your gun. I predict when LEOs come up to your window after pulling you over or for say a DUI checkpoint they are going to see that and freak the f#ck out, perhaps even draw down on you before you get a chance to explain. Not a good idea at all man.

My buddy has been doing this for years. He has been pulled over also and never had an issue. No DUI check points anymore in my town because they caused wrecks. Also your car is an extension of your home. Same laws and rules apply. You just let the cop know its there and your all good. No cop has ever freaked out. But again he also has ak-47, glock, and ar-15 stickers all over his truck so they expect it I guess. LOL. Last time he got pulled over they gave him props on his stickers and guns.

Sorry but it looks like it would be visible from the window; that is why I said that. If it isn't then my bad. I'm not against CC at all. I just know the cops around are often looking in your car window before you get much of a chance to talk.

Installed a new AAE Rack w/ poly bushings. Had to get a new pressure line, and make a new return barb, as the factory ones weren't too happy after 15 years and 260k miles worth of corrosion.

Night and day difference. My old rack was WELL past due for replacement.

Now to get my front suspension apart so I can raise the 5100s up a perch and make some room for some bigger tires.

scheduled time for the runner to go into the shop to have my light bar mounts fab'd up. the shop is gonna keep the measurements ect "on file" for 3rd gen runners and 1st gen tacos so they can start marketing mounts for 50" curved LED bars. im so happy, like super excited to have this done!

Finally got around to doing the Tundra brake upgrade - went with DuraLast calipers, rotors and pads (non-ceramic per suggestions on here). The whole thing cost around $260 with core swap and went together without issue thanks to the hand of a very helpful neighbor. Feels good to cross that one off the list.

Man... I installed my blue sea fuse box Sunday along with hard wiring the stupid dual 12v and usb thing in my arm rest to fuse box. Went to grab something from inside today and alarm wouldn't unlock. Map lights wouldn't turn on. Very much so dead. Guess this thing has some wicked parasitic draw as the weather has been mild all week and she was doing fine before.

Looks like I'll be installing a switch or relay this weekend. And getting a new battery.
