What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I started to wash and detail my truck yesterday but I realized that winter (if you want to call it that) has finally arrived in San Diego and it was just plain cold. I'll be spending some time today finally sorting out many of the cool pictures I've taken year with hopes of posting more soon.

I ended up only updating my build thread with a new trip report. I already posted this in the picture gallery but I figure it would be good here as well.

Brake light LEDs finally arrived

China post took their time, honestly forgot I ordered these, but was a nice little tweak. The pics are somewhat misleading; the leds are a lot brighter than the oem bulbs and look a lot better.

Working on the 3rd brake light board next once all the super flux leds I ordered find their way across the Pacific.

I was going to upgrade all the running lights to LED and the turn signal. They are awesome, just don't like the fast flashing if the LED without the load equalizer

Finally made up my mind wether or not to run the spidertrax wheel spacers . I cant believe i waited as long as did to make a decision as they sat in my office for months,simple install and it came out awesome ! Now the truck has the widened wheel base tuff stance i feel it should have had all along ...

Just finished the 99 headlight housing install on my 97. SUPER big difference in lighting. This was the best mod I have done yet. I removed my HELLA 500FF's so I can sell them and add a larger LED light bar on the bumper. I'm ordering a 40" light bar for the roof this next week.

EDiT: Just got dark here in San Diego and man these new housings are the shit!

I picked them up on amazon. The company you want is DEPO. They are much better than most of the other brands on there and they were only around $45 a piece.

Replaced the starter. The OEM finally started to click and I was getting nervous that I would be somewhere with the kids and have to get towed. Replacement was challenging......actually just getting the starter out, not disconnected, was the hardest. It was a tight fit in there

$100 after core return. Napa auto Parts. Also hit 150k miles. Also did the LED license plate upgrade. If you follow any of my posts you already know I am an LED whore.

Finally got around to fill welding all the old trim holes. Not the easiest task in the world with a Harbor Freight 110 flux core welder, but looks better than a bunch of holes.

Props for doing it with flux core, I just got done filling some.
