Dropped the tank tonight and replaced the sending unit. Finally have a working fuel gauge.

Just curious about how much would you charge for this? I did a projector retrofit on my sealed beam headlights in my Supra and there is a pretty good bit of work involved with one.

Driving home late last week in rainy/ sleety weather I came to a stop light and noticed my brake pedal was very slightly, slowly sinking while I was stopped. The truck stopped just fine then and all the way home. Same all the way to work the next day but the pedal still sunk slowly to the floor at every stop sign/ stop light. Figured "Great. Master cylinder." I looked up the price of a new master cylinder assembly and had an epic WTF moment.

Well, turns out it was just a tiny pinhole in my left front brake line to the caliper. Years back while replacing calipers, the bolt for the bracket that holds the end of the brake hose to the knuckle snapped while I was trying to remove it. I just zip tied the bracket in place and left it be. I guess that probably had something to do with that brake line slightly rupturing because I have no rust on any brake lines except a little at the rear end. Crisis dodged.
Replaced the brake line and all is well. Man, I hope I never have to replace that master cylinder. 223,579 miles on the truck as of today.

Mounted my ax to my roll bar. I now have the ax, shovel, fire extinguisher, and maglite all mounted (maglite is above the drivers door in picture 2). Last I need to mount the Hi-Lift jack on the right side then build my removable shelf.

EASIEST MOD EVER! Literally take one screw out and replace it with a longer one with the same thread type. I couldn't believe I got it on the first try and best of all no drilling. Just replaced the screw that is all. This is the mini QuickFist and a old military knife that I inherited.

Your old military knife is known as a Ka-Bar, which is also the name of the brand. First adopted by the U.S. Marine Corps and later by the U.S. Navy. It's a 20" Cree I bought on amazon for $65. It's a pretty badass light for the money. 12600 lumens

Picked up this 99 Highlander 5 speed with rear locker.

Pulled my light bar off and sent it back due to the condensation. While it is off I plan to finish my custom brackets by rounding off the edges and painting them black since right now they are just bare aluminum.

Got my ARB shackles in the mail today to go with my shackle mounts I picked up used last week also. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the ARB ones were actually the cheapest ones I could find. I paid $22 shipped for two of them. Now I just need to decide what color I want to paint them. I've got a black truck with a blackout Satoshi style grille and plan to plastidip/bedline my stock front bumper. For the shackles I'm thinking black, silver/charcoal, or red. Thoughts?

added a cheapo but loud $9.99 Harbor Freight set of horns (first painted them flat black)

Great horns for the price aren't they? I installed a pair on my dad's CRV over 3 years ago with no problems except for the cheap-ass relay they came with.
