I found some 2015 4runner rims and 265 70 17 tires with less than 500 miles on them (take offs) on craigslist and put them on.

$400 for the set.

Looks great. Big difference.

I installed a Walker Quiet-Flow muffler last weekend. I also plasti-dipped and glossifier'ed my "grandpa chrome" wheel well trim black. Since I am too cheap for fender flares and my 4Runner is my daily I thought this was at least an improvement.

LED back up lights.

Added the Savage bumper last week, put on some 16w LED lights tonight. Something like 900 lumen per lamp. The stock glass bulbs were 16w a piece , so I put some .5w LEDS in the stock location so I don't overload the electrical. I tapped into the stock wiring.

took it to the DMV to register it, since it has an out of state title, they needed to verify the VIN, well the VIN plate on the dash was missing! told me i had to go to another location that deals with this sort of thing. not only is the other DMV on the other side of town, but the only avail. appointments aren't until next week! thank God it's not my daily driver.

If I'm not mistaken you can get a Cop to do the VIN verification too.

Taco whip mod and install Pioneer 720BT head unit. I love this head unit for $110 from Amazon at the time I ordered, can't beat it for the price.

Here's a tip on the taco whip mod: When you are pulling out your old antenna cable, tape something to the end of it (I used paracord and duck tape) so that when you pull the cable out, you will have something to attach the new cable to to help you feed it back through. Don't get me wrong, routing that cable was still a major PITA, but I can't imagine how much harder it would be if I didn't have that paracord in there to pull it back through with.
