Didn't get much done on the 4Runner... had to dig a huge trench by hand today to run a gas line into my house... helped swap out some electrical, sold and moved a home fuel tank, and then buried my trench. :whipping2

Plan is to put the truck together tomorrow afternoon or after dinner.... hopefully! :canada:

I put on some new Wade window reflectors and installed new PIAA bulbs. What a difference they make, so much brighter than the ones in there, they looked OEM. Very happy so far.

Just have to figure everything else out now.

Changed cv boots on the left side using kballs excellent write-up, modified to accommodate manual hubs and matching cv shafts. More grease than even I want to wallow in.

While I was in there I found this in the hub...

Here a lot of it's been cleaned out, you can still see some though.

If anyone can elaborate on what's going on here I'm all ears...manual hubs out of a 96 Tacoma...all I know is bad news, bear.

While I continue pondering the direction I wish to go with my lift/tires I decided to raise the front an inch in order to level it out a bit front to back.

I also took the grinder to my front skid when I had it up on the lift... While I was under there I noticed my LCA was contacting the skid and actually limiting my down travel. Had to take about 1/4" off of it on both sides.

Do you normally run with all that weight on the back with the tent etc? I actually like a good bit of rake in my vehicles, but i could see it being too much if you were to take the tent off and the back comes up a bit. She looks great either way though.
