New tires

Bought a set of 4 new Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza Plus from Discount Tire. They did not have Roadforce balancing but the guy who spin balanced my tires must know what he's doing as I did not notice any vibration during my test drive. Took it up to 80mph and it was smooth as glass, very quiet too! Also had the oil and oil filter changed and replaced a busted front parking light.

Yesterday - Transmission flush, install Trans cooler, PS Flush, Painted grill black and Toyota emblem Natural White (match 4R)

Today - installed new starter (tried to locally source contacts but no luck and needed 4R up and running since it's my DD. I did pop open the old starter and the contacts were beat.) - she starts like a champ.

Eleanor pitched a fit last night. P0306 code popped up. Wow was she pissed. Found the #6 cylinder spark plug boot to be burnt through.

Replaced the plugs, wires, cleaned the MAF sensor and installed a new fuel filter. Wow! What a difference! She pulls solid all the way to red line now.

That's what I did today.

Put coolant in for the first time since I bought it. 9 chemical flushes, 1 front heater core, 1 rear heater core, 1 radiator, radiator cap, and thermostat later I've finally gotten rid of all of the stop leak from the previous owner.

New oem PVC valve and grommet installed, no idea how much this helps but it was a 5 minute fix so no complaints. Pulled out the antenna motor and installed a new mast from Amazon. Fits great and extends/retracts all the way now. Love your ride and it'll love you.

Installed keyless entry with remote start . Im loving it. Now if i could find the newer toyota chirp thing so i can use that instead if my horn.

Instead of wiring in to your horn, find a "Soft chirp" car alarm siren instead.

Did a solo trek to Zion National Park in Utah. Ran with new raceline renegade 6 rims. Now my truck looks all murdered out! Looks good on other black runners but they will probably go in the classified soon if they don't grow on me. Left the chrome center caps on but will remove when I get a chance.









And of course a little stay in Vegas before I head back to Cali. (Sorry Mods)

Literally. Front one was the leaky one which caused the original owner to put stop leak in to start. Rear one was so completely caked full of the stuff that you couldn't blow it out so I had to replace it to. I've been breaking stop leak out of lines (they were crunchy and clogged) and blowing them out for months now. I also forgot to mention the heater selector valve (can't think of the technical term right now). That was clogged half way with stop leak and frozen up so that had to go also.

Went on a weekend car-camp adventure, very mild test of the airbags. I liked the way it handled on the interstate and the twisty turns of hwy N and W. Not packed to the gills or even close, though the bikes on back with rack weigh around #130 and that alone typically causes a couple of inches sag. So far happy with the 1/2" drop at 25psi and the ride felt good to me.

Put in the 890/906 and 5100's this weekend. Likely going to pull the 10mm trim packs from the rear as I got more lift than expected in the rear. The rear end seems a little bouncy/stiff but we'll see how it feels after driving a bit.

Fronts are on the second from the bottom perch, rears have the 10mm trim pack and OEM cones installed.

That's nothing I'd want to wish on even my worst enemy! Well ok maybe a few people lol. That stop leak stuff is the worst. That's quite the undertaking. Good luck with it all.

Sanded, primed and plastidip dip dipped my new-to-me 4th gen sport 17s. Originally intended to finish them off with a coat of gunmetal grey but now idk, the black looks noice too. Whatever I decide they have to go on mañana.
