Finally took my totaled 95' Celica to the junkyard
Definitely need to put a 7 pin connector and trailer brake controller
Also need to regear 3.72s and 265/75/16 ain't cuttin it
May go to ECGS and get 4.30 and clutch style posi 3rd member

I went to the local Pick-N-Pull and found Hella and Fiamm trumpet horns off of a couple of late model Mercedes. I also picked some roof rack parts to clean up my roof.

Holy Cross-rails, Batman, what do you need so many for? New stock rack was two large front and rear and three small in the middle, right?

I wanted a more streamlined look, so I took the two large rails off and added a few more of the smaller ones.

--Changed the Front/Rear Diff Gear oil with Lucas non-synthetic 85W-140 (ECGS recommendation)...4:88s are ready to go!
--Greased the Driveshaft
--Greased the zerks on my swaybar brackets

Removed the rear cargo carpet for a need pressure wash. Got carried away and removed the seats and all carpets. I was met with this horror...

Im currently debating wich gauge sheet metal to use for this. Also it seems that the body attachement point is rusted out. Is redoing this section doable ?

That's total Prepper stuff right there. Long after the apocalypse comes and all fuel & electricity are gone — you'll still be rockin it in a 3rd gen!

Just be mindful of any zombies that might try to eat your ankles when you stop...

What did you do to your 3rd gen today?

Replaced steering rack after the original one upchucked last week. Flushed out system, installed a NAPA( couldn't wait on a safari rack or for them to even respond). Night and day difference in steering even before the original one crapped out.

Been noticing a scraping/grinding noise when the entire front end compresses, not side specific as far as I can tell this has been this way for 2-3 months now. Ideas?

Finally got around to the tundra brake upgrade. Paid $150 (and that was with my customer loyalty discount card) for pads and the shim kit from the stealership.....ouch! But since I work at an auto parts store I only paid 135 (after core charge) for reman'd calipers and brand new rotors....hurray! Now time for lunch. Here's the goodies.

Replaced the passenger side valve cover gasket on my 2000. Discovered a really hellacious gunk build up in there. Astonishingly bad.

At least the engine isn't leaking oil like sieve now. But I'm faced with the question of whether I should consider Seafoaming it. Gas tank or crank case. It's bad enough I'm seriously considering holding off until Spring so I won't have to pull my other ride out of mothballs.
