Installed a swing-out spare tire carrier. I bought it from a member here...ahem...a while back (September 2014, IIRC). It was a one-off, made for a T4R with a 1.5" body lift. I had no plans to lift mine. I tried mounting it, but it hit the bumper. I considered notching the bumper, but the brackets would also be in the way. I had pretty much forgotten about it, but then I read about someone replacing only the center section of the rear bumper. Bingo!

Yes, I cleaned the truck and the tire after the pic was taken.

In the upper right of the frame is the chain from my Big Ass Hoist. It looks shop-built. The guy I bought it from said it was made for pulling engine out of big rigs. It's 8 feet tall. I have lifted the back end of a Mustang off the ground in order to take off the tires when a jack was broken. It's a beast. It lifted the engine and trans out of a Ranger pickup as a unit, and when they were nearly vertical, cleared the fenders. I love it.

Oh you know. Just cleaned a throttle body, IAC, and MAF. Idle was a little sketchy. Seems smoother now. Can't wait to get through a full tank of gas and see if my mpg improve.

Well, please don't pester him, but Alex did my retrofits. Very happy as everyone else was with the work. I know he had expressed less then little interest in doing many of them.

I am going to try something local first. Throwing my tube bumpers plus cash out there for anyone who might want to cash out on their plate/tube bumper investments. Face it, people don't pay shit for used parts. I am willing to trade/buy very fairly for CBI, Addicted, or 4xInnovations bumpers if I don't have to wait.

If I'm paying for a bumper outright and waiting? CBI. Alex has one and it looks great. I like some of the others, but advertised 6-8 week wait times? I stand behind all my prior remarks in the bumper war threads. It's ridiculous. I'd rather buy a used one for full price and have it tomorrow then wait on that.

I don't know if you all can see the video above, but that's my biggest failure at the moment. As an amateur I'm relatively proud of the lack of eff-ups I've experienced removing my heads, but this is what's standing in the way of my happiness now.
As I was removing a bolt holding the power steering pump, I didn't notice the socket catching the edge of the pulley, so as I removed the bold I slowly bent... Something? As you can see my pulley is now very off-kilter. Would a new bolt holding the pulley be the right answer to my woes? Or is it gonna be more complicated?

As you can see my pulley is now very off-kilter. Would a new bolt holding the pulley be the right answer to my woes? Or is it gonna be more complicated?

Looks like bent pulley. I would pull the bolt out and set the pulley on a flat surface.

Replaced timing belt, water pump, thermostat, flushed all fluids, replaced valve gaskets, tune up. Should be good for a while.

Had a stmumble then a misfire then angry lights last week right before I went out of town. Got everything ordered and did maintainence today. OEM plugs, ngk wires, amazon coil packs. PCV valve and k&n intake (my old airbox was ruined since I bought the truck and the local yards want over 100 for a used airbox. Turns out one coilpack took a dump, odd thing is it was at the connection to the plug, old rubber/misuse not sure but it was mangled. Runs fine now so after another paycheck more bits to order.

Romoved plug wires from the plugs to remove the water i got in them from cleaning the engine.

that's totally fixable. It's not hard to pull the ps pump to replace the pulley or to replace the entire pump.
