Went to put the axle nuts (174 ftlbs) back on and realized my torque wrench only goes up to 150.

Went to put the axle nuts (174 ftlbs) back on and realized my torque wrench only goes up to 150.

I clicked mine at 150 and turned it a twat hair more. There is a nice cotter pin that secures the nut as well. They aren't going anywhere.

Not picture-worthy but I installed a new denso fuel pump to blindly troubleshoot the issue of a P0171 and truck not starting. Looks to have just gotten weak and quit (testing said otherwise) over two weeks. She lives again now. All done in below freezing temps on cardboard and ice. Great times.

new wheels and tires too....fn 16" 5 spoke bronze and 285 75 16 retread A/T's.

There is a 1997 SR5, 5speed, 4x4 for sale locally, it only has 64,000 original miles on it, but he is asking 11,500. :/

Seems crazy, I know supply and demand, and it has low miles(64,000) but still seems a bit much.

finally got my front and rear sway bar bushings on and steering rack bushings on...nice difference
just bought 4 Trail Edition wheels off my bud who got a 2016 TEP they only had 400 miles on them....going to paint them myself or have them powdercoated black...but before that I should really do my valve cover gaskets and plugs/wires...then I can get some Kelly Safari TSR 33s

Purchased new OEM lower shock bolts and SPC cam bolts and cam plates. Hope I can get these damn lower control arms out and bushings replaced. Making me go crazy with the hard right pull when braking. Right side control arm bushings are non existent other than enough to not let the bolt be removed.

Bought front mud-flaps, tried to remove the running boards and cannont for the life of me figure out how to get the rusted stripped bolts off of the upper brackets. Will try saw-zaw his weekend.

Just got aligned this am...damn this weather!! will put skid plate back on later, left off to help them align. Glad to have it back on the road!! =)

I had to grind mine off....there's only one side you have room to hit them on. Hopefully you can unbolt a few to help...13mm is what i was working with. Make sure to take the 10mm's out from the fender well too. Goodluck!

When I removed mine it was pretty easy... I hit them with some penetrating oil waited for a little while... and with a little Elf magic and elbow grease... off they came. I thought it was going to require heat and everything...
