No reason not to get the Runner lifter with some aggressive shoes.

Pm me whatever your after. A lot of stuff is already spoken for. I'm not gonna poke and prod for $20 like some people. I assume anything you'd want in that respect would be aftermarket since he has anything stock you could dream of.

One of my rentals just vacated so I have some extra room if more of these trucks present themselves. Again though, finding these with aftermarket gear are few and far between.

I installed my 2' CB antenna. I am using a convertor to run my CB and AM/FM radio antenna through the same antenna. So far I am just using the AM/FM side of it and it is great.

I didnt even know you could do that.

YESTERDAY: Took apart in throttle body and clean all the components (MAF, TB, IAC). Also checked all the vacuum lines. Seems this simple cleaning has fixed my issue of having the RPMs randomly drop. Also no more slight miss when heavy on the throttle. \

TODAY: Took a few buddies with me down some dirt roads to go elk horn hunting. Only found one, but it felt great to have a truck running 100% and I love getting it dirty!

What did you find was the most practical way of finding vacuum leaks? I hear some people spray something and another watches for RPM to rise? Anyway for me to do it alone?

By checking the vacuum lines I ran my hands over them, squeezing and feeling for any cracks. I didn't do a proper test, but all the lines visually looked fine.

with the engine running you can spray carb cleaner around the hoses and connections, if it sucks it in, you will notice a change in engine running

it is advised to have a fire extinguisher near by

in all my years I have never had one flame....but you are spraying a flammable liquid on a hot surface

Do you have more information on the mount you used? I've been trying to figure out a way to run this setup at the stock antenna mount.

The stock antenna location is a no-go for a CB antenna and a standard AM/FM antenna will not work for a CB radio. I found reports of the sheetmetal splitting due to excessive stress at the mount location. This is why I chose to use the CBI ditch light bracket. It is a much stronger solution for this use. I am using this splitter here. I also setup my CB antenna on a quick detach mounted to a CBI ditch light bracket.

Solo Motorsports boxed spindles, heim steering, lower uniball conversion

We finished installation of the Solo Motorsports boxed spindles, lower uniball conversion (no more lower ball joint), beefed the steering outer links, and deleted brake hardlines (replaced with braided).

This is good stuff from a great company. I'll post more on my build later today.

That sounds like a horribly bad and illegal idea man. You cause someone to crash and you will be sued and maybe even jailed. Id advise undoing that mod, don't give us 4runner a bad name.

much easier than expected, changed the fluid in the diffs and transfer case and changed oil with eneos 5w 30. even being a michigan car, new too me and with 157,000 miles, the plugs came out with no fuss.

cant wait to get all caught up all around and start building it

Best for last. Found a wrecked 4runner, the guy just got it back this weekend locally. Lifted on icon suspension, Sr5 fender flares, led lights on roof and arb front bumper, TRD supercharger, meth injection, fj wheels and toyo 33s, Downey headers, damage to rear end and hatch only. Ton of awesome parts, towing it home tonight for $1400.

I'll be using the icons and we are swapping long blocks this weekend. Arb bumper and roof rack are sold. Seats are sold. Hatch is destroyed, rear bumper destroyed. Sr5 flares spoken for.

It's a 99, silver. I will post in the classifieds once I'm ready to part it further. Not trying to clutter this thread. I am going to buy a 96 and looking at an 02 tomorrow. So I'll have at least 2 rigs for parts.
