Cleaned my engine bay. I've used Kaboom foam tastic for my weather tech floor mats for a while now because it works amazing and smells good, but I decided to give it a try on my engine bay because it's not nearly as harsh as engine cleaner/degreaser. My engine wasn't too dirty but the kaboom seemed to work really well. Also works pretty good for cleaning muddy tires if you combo it with a brush. Better than tire cleaner at least.

3 uses in 1 product? Hell, why not!?

Installed an Airaid M.I.T. and deckplate. I'm very happy with the results.

Installed OME 881/890 springs with 5100 Bilsteins! WOW! What a nice improve in the ride. My 2002 SR5 4X4 with 170,000 miles was riding real crappy (rear bump stops were very close to the axle). The springs are advertised at Wheelers to be 1.5-1.75 front lift and 2.5 rear. I got 2 inch front and 3.5 rear, but it works out to only 1 inch higher in the rear (rear was sagging about a half inch, compared to the front). Exactly what I wanted; a little rake to be level when loaded or towing. Thrilled with the ride now! I see so many other 3rd gen T4Rs out there with stock suspension, and pitty the owners for not knowing what they are missing!

2001-05 Celica wheel swap. Used the airbag plug from the Celica clock spring and moved it to the 4R. Used my original cruise switch with some slight mods. It had one little wear spot on top so I added a fresh leather wheel skin. All went well except I cannot get the horn to work properly. Just blows continuously. I am sure its a simple solution but I took the fuse out for now until I do some research. Anyone else have this horn issue after a steering wheel swap?

Honestly I couldn't tell you. I got it off a 97 limited that some guy traded in and had left on. I'm not sure the brand or anything since it seems to be older.

Had to spend over $1100 to get the cam plug seals replaced as it was leaking and they thought it was my head gaskets which would have cost over $2400. Glad that it was cheaper but still a little too much to spend less than a week after buying it.:crybaby:

Ha...my fix might be a whole lot cheaper, but I'll bet you got yours back a whole lot faster.

Got mine back in about 2 days. Way better than the 6-7 days that the shop told me if it was the head gaskets.

What did you do to your 3rd gen today?

I mounted a USB rocker switch in my center console, and mounted my CB where the ashtray should be. I also removed my power antenna and filled the hole with a rubber plug. Since I have a multi-plexor on my CB antenna I don't need a seperate radio antenna. I just picked up a couple of the rubber plugs from the lical Lowe's since I wasn't sure which would fit. IMO, it has a cleaner look to it.

Got the oil changed at Right Toyota in N. Scottdale. They always treat her right. Found an oil leak though so looks like I'll be under the truck tomorrow. I thinking it's the valve covers again.

Unfortunately (haha), looks like there is a chance I will be buying a used long travel kit and this (along with the TC upper arm) will be for sale.

Excited to install! Bummed I might have a bent rear axle housing, lol. Not looking forward to replacing it.

Made this. I have no ignition key anymore because of the push button start and forgot that i would not have a key to up/down my window anymore. I may hide it somewhere or just leave it in. Alarm sounds anyway if someone tries to open it without me knowing. Has a nice twist grip.

-Toytec Diff Drop...don't ask me why I didn't do this earlier (Shrockworks skids clear by less than 1/2 in)

-Fixed rear window (was getting stuck on wiper motor and wouldn't go down)
-Replaced license plate trim with Line-X'd trim
-Cleaned out sunroof drains (no more wet drivers floor!)
-Military Battery post connectors
