This guy just arrived. Downloaded Torque Pro. Gonna see what all this check engine light hoo haa on Saturday was all about.
btw: $26.00 delivered amazon.ca. everyone should have one at that price.
Every one of these I've tried has been useless.... is it just because I get cheap ones?
You should paint those Nissan Calipers red, would look sick with the black.

I'll let you know how useful/useless this one is, there are a LOT to chose from on Amazon, my usual rule of thumb is to look at the ratio of customer reviews to rating. This little unit has over 300 reviews with a 4.5/5 rating, most of whom paired it with Torque Pro.
At $26 I figured it was worth a punt.

:banana: Installed fiberglass fenders still need a lot of tweaking and Just my experience glassworks unlimited sucks just my opinion... nothing fits right and so on and so forth. Maybe need to update their mold because it was not fitting like it should anyway.:llama:

Have these installed in my front doors too, very happy with them. If you aren't already doing so, consider getting an amp too--they work fine straight off the head unit, but they really started to come alive when I added the amp. Surprisingly big difference.

I have a stock 99 SR5 4WD and eventually i want to get a sonoransteel 3 inch lift + a fat pats body lift. Im running 265/70R16 currently and want to reach 285/75R16 eventually but I'm a broke high school student . My parents help me out with tires so when i get new tires soon they'll have to last and i want to get the biggest size i can with minimal rubbing as i save up for a suspension lift. Will a body lift help me clear bigger tires? I was thinking a body lift, spacers and maybe some slight cutting and pounding to hold me over until i get 1500$ lol.

so you want a suspension lift for the bigger tires your parents are purchasing...
but to hold you over with the bigger tires, you want to do a Body Lift...
here's my recomendation...
Get a 2.5 inch daystar spacer lift front/rear $125 AMAZON
this 'should' clear your tires, it is a 'cheap' install before you get your suspension parts. I've seen other run this just fine.
you'll still need to hammer the pinch weld for off road as you will rub while flexed, but mall crawling or school paring lot crawling, you shouldn't rub as often.

No, this is a spacer kit for your suspension, so it's like putting taller suspension in without the cost... this is THE cheapest suspension lift you can find. the ride will be close to the same... I'm not positive, but you 'might' have to replace the rear shocks from the extra height, the front stays the same... you can do monroe shocks from 0'riely's for $25 each for a land cruiser.
a body lift would require a steering lift, which most/all body lifts come with.
If you want you could do a 1inch body lift also, getting a net 3.5 inch lift, doing this might clear you without much pounding.

Finally finished up the valve cover/ knock sensor job. Had some excellent kid help buttoning it back up.
Drove it and nothing blew up or caught fire. Though it may be because it's so dang wet around here, starting the night after I began pulling the truck apart. :twitch:
